Greetings from Buffalo Creek Iris and Daylily Garden
Welcome all of you to a new iris and daylily season! It's always exciting to see the first early bloom and know that a spectacular display will soon follow. I want to thank all of you for your orders last year. You are highly valued customers at Buffalo Creek Iris and Daylily Garden. As you can see, I have added daylilies this year. I will have only seedlings for sale this year, but I have purchased 72 named daylilies and 230 seedlings from to Cris Vizvarie to start my daylilies.
We have over 500 irises in our garden this year, about 300 listed plants from 1998 to 2002. We feature plants hybridized by Aitken, Black, Dyer, Nichals, Niswonger, Keppel, Pinegar, Schreiner, Spoons, Sutton, Ernst and Chapman among others. I personally dig and process all orders. Iris plants are freshly dug, usually no more than one day before shipping. The fan and roots are trimmed longer to give you more startup growth, and washed clean of all dirt. I ship only by U.S. Mail. The real fun of making up your order comes in adding extras from your suggestions as well as surprise bonuses, so you receive a real bargain.
We truly enjoy all of our garden visitors who love the iris and daylily display as much as we do. Peak bloom for the Medians is the 2nd and 3rd week of April, Tall Beardeds the last week of April to the 2nd week of May. The best month for Rebloomers is October. Our bloom season is late March to early July. Visitors are always welcome at Buffalo Creek Iris and Daylily Garden. Please call before you visit to be sure I'm home.
Best wishes to you and may your bloom season be the best ever!
