ABOUT MINDPATH AND IRIS CENTRAL
I am an iris enthusiast (and AIS garden judge) who happens to know computers and the internet.  I grow about 500 bearded and 100 beardless and species iris cultivars in my hobby garden.  I enjoy sharing the beauty of the iris with others.

A great way to promote irises on the internet is with photos from iris gardens.  I found a few great iris sites (the larger commercial firms) using search engines like Yahoo and Alta Vista.  I found iris pictures from a few iris hybridizers, but I didn't find anywhere near the 600-800 iris cultivars introduced to the public this year.  I wonder what all those other irises look like.

The internet is the perfect media for wide distribution of quality full-color iris  pictures.  You can publish complete color catalogs available to a much wider audience on the internet for a fraction of the cost of printing and mailing paper material.

I started IRIS CENTRAL as a place on the internet, a central starting place, to find links to ALL the beautiful iris gardens, a place where even the smallest iris garden can participate with photos and descriptions.  Hiring a web programmer to run IRIS CENTRAL would  run the costs up for everybody, so, after a lot of thought,  I decided to be the webmaster.

Then I started MINDPATH as a small web page design company to help gardeners create pages for IRIS CENTRAL.  Won't you consider showing the world your irises on IRIS CENTRAL?
