Ms.
Tafoya has been a community college educator and technology trainer
for 20 years. In her fine craft classes, she strives to create a
relaxed and supportive atmosphere, where humor and joy mingle to
inspire creative self-expression!
Workshop offerings include 2- and 3-dimensional
mixed media bead embroidery, beaded cabochon jewelry, beaded beads
for adornment, cuff bracelets (various techniques), earrings (various
stitches), multistrand necklace constructions, mixed media explorations
of collage, stamping, polyshrink, polymer clay, and assemblage techniques
for art and adornment
Mary also offers a color theory seminar especially
for bead and fiber artists entitled "Reinventing the Color
Wheel," as well as mixed media and surface design projects
suitable for creative art centers, bead shops, retreats, and stamping
