Aunt Molly's Bead Street

Beadwork Patterns, Alphabets: SHALA'S RIGHT ANGLE WEAVE RUNES

Shala Kerrigan created these rune patterns by request, and, knowing what an alphabet freak I am, she graciously allowed me to give them a home here when the time came to rotate her pattern requests page. Visit Shala's home page to see more of her free patterns. You can also check out my micro runes for peyote stitch, and Kyallee's loom/square stitch runes.

I rearranged Shala's original text slightly, placing the name and description of the rune under each picture. Shala writes: "Reading from left to right, top to bottom, which is exactly opposite of how they are supposed to be read, I believe, these are:"

Fehu, for wealth

Eolh, for protection

Urz, for strength

Gieu, for cooperation

Tir, for the warrior

Kenaz, for illumination

Jera, for completion

Nunjo, for balance

Sigel, for victory

Daeg, for daylight

Raidho, for transformation

Beorc, for growth
