APRIL LOVE
As spring has danced
across the land,
Dressed in her gown of lace,
Me thinks I see beneath her
smile,
A tear on April's face.
Ah! spring! young love,
how sweet it is,
When life is at its' morn!
But how can love know deeper
joy,
Till it has sorrrow borne?
Young love will learn when
heartbreak comes,
That joy must have its' pain,
The winds may blow
and tears may flow,
Yet spring will come again.
