A formal petition was drafted = to the NCMA National Office on 19 September 1984
requesting permission to = establish a Fort Worth Chapter of NCMA with thirty-three
(33) charter members. = Formal approval of the petition was granted on October 17,
1984 with = Chapter Number=20 107 being chartered as the Fort Worth Chapter of NCMA.


In the twenty (20+) years of existence the Fort Worth Chapter has:
o Conducted chapter meetings = September through June of each year.
o Conducted monthly chapter board = officer planning meetings.
o Conducted monthly dinner meetings on the third Tuesday of the month.
o Selected meeting locations which are centrally located, offer the best price value, and
can accommodate the chapter needs.


The original board officers, which include two current members, were:
o President - Ira (Doc) O. Whittenberg (Current Chapter Member)
o Vice President - Jay L. Daniel (Current Chapter Member)
o Secretary - Edgar W. = Simpson
o Treasurer - Don C. Henry
