My Religion Page
First off let me start by saying I believe all religious systems are valid. In other words, if it's right for you, then it's right. The only time I have problems with other religions is when they take a "convert or else" attitude. I have been chased by so called "christians" weilding baseball bats because they disagreed with me on religious grounds. And this is mild compared to the killing that has gone on in the name of various religions for years and yes, still happens today. Why? If your religion is so great, then why do you need to use force?
Let me also state that I have also experienced or studied many of the popular (and not so popular) world religions, and am very satisfied with my personal belief system, so if you're here to convert or "save" me, you're probably wasting time.

Now that the prelims are over, here's a bit about my religious beliefs:
I hold a system of personal beliefs, rather than following any set system. However, I will call myself a Wiccan, because that comes closest to describing my beliefs. (for more info about Wicca click here)
Basically, my view of deity is like a tree. The roots are all of us humans. The trunk, supported and fed by the roots, is general deity. I don't feel that this generic deity has too much sentience. It's just too widespread and nebulous. The trunk splits in to two main branches. These branches are the male and female side of deity. This is where there begins to be sentience. Many Wiccans stop there, and honor the Male and Female principles, either as God and Goddess or by specific names. I, however, believe that the two branches again split into more branches, these being the individual gods. I believe that the gods are busy with their own affairs, but they still can and will affect our lives if we ask. I don't believe in worship or begging, rather, I will approach them upright and as a friend - I will honor them as ones with more knowledge and power, but I will not try to debase myself or throw out a lot of false flattery.
I believe that magick is a working force, just like physics, but with more subtle laws that are harder to understand. I think that magick mostly consists of imposing your will upon the universe. The rites, words, gestures, and rituals that we think of as "magic" are just methods of convincing yourself 100% that you are doing magick. Sort of like a mneumonic or mind trick.

Although, I am not officially a member, I do my group workings with Clann an Fhaoil-Choin (Clan of the Wolfhound), a Celtic Reconstructionalist group filled with some great people.
I came across a good comparative religions page called: Mike Croghan's Religion Page.
One of the things I like best about paganism, is that we are not afraid to laugh at ourselves. For proof, I offer up the following:

Questionnaire from the Gods - fill out in full or be imolated
The Hacker Tarot - for all you cyberpagans
