4 Slices

Timemoment: Late night
Driving city to city
Taping Valentine's greetings to friends
and maybelovers
Grinning and laughing, the joy of joy.
Not quite Cupid on a Harley, but pretty damn close.
Shooting lovemessagearrows into the hearts of those I care about
And shooting the finger to normalcy and dull routine
But I must have left my diapers and wings in my other suit.

Timemoment: Morning
Dashing into class late
Joining the battledebate with many allies
and enemies.
Grinning inside, the joy of issue debate.
Not quite Clarence Darrow, but pretty damn close
Shooting issuepointbullets into the minds of those I debate
And perhaps the bullets will lodge and leak new thoughts into
   dull routine
But I must have left my One True Path® in my other suit.

Timemoment: Later morning
Sitting on the warm grass
Blowing smokebubbles and discussing poetry with friends
and nature.
Grinning and laughing, the joy of being.
Not quite Nirvana, but pretty damn close.
Releasing message bubbles into the winds of the universe
And creating our own reality.
But I must have left my worries and fears in my other suit.

Timemoment: Calculus class
First row, off to the side
Alternately transforming moments into poetry
and integrals into, well, other integrals
Grinning at the joy of irony
Not quite stream of conscious, but pretty damn close
Bouncing ideaform between my mind and the universe
And watching reality alter with each line
But I, um, must have left my homework in, er, my other suit.

Timemoment: Anytime
The place that you are
Thought and creativity define the universe
And laughter is Ambrosia
Not quite blind men, but pretty damn close.
Open your eyes to each slice of life
And you will own reality.

Oh, and I suggest leaving your suits behind.
