The solution consists of inserting a flexible system of lighting, color, movable walls, and frames into an existing space, transforming it without completely hiding the original light industrial character of the space. With a limited budget, the ability to use existing structure and materials is important. Flexibility is achieved at two levels. The ability to move walls and change color and lighting schemes provides a versatility of display within the space over time. By creating a series of recognizable components (frames, movable walls, and lighting grid), a degree of flexibility in designing stores in disparate spaces and conditions is maintained.
