Henson Cemetery
Red Springs, Baylor Co., TX
Henson Cemetery is located northeast of Red Springs. I reached the cemetery by taking US 82 from Seymour to Red Springs, turning north on FM 2069, and east on County Road 104. There is a sign for the cemetery on US 82 at its intersection with County Road 145. GPS location is 33 degrees 23.215 minutes North, 99 degrees 53.517 minutes west.
My wife, Jan, and I visited the cemetery Feb. 16, 2002. We were there in the morning. Most of the marker I photographed were in full sun. The markers for Robert J. and Martha L. Powell face in the opposite direction and were in their own shadow. The text did not photograph well, therefore I included one picture of the two markers to help show their location. I did fail to photograph Raleigh Ross Parker's half of the Parker marker. This was an oversight on my part.
There are three general views of the cemetery which can be used to help locate the graves.
