We are the Edward Barrett - Charles Howard family.  He was a forger who used 4 first names

 and 4 last names.  The first I can find was Edward Barrett in 1908.  He was Charles Howard

in 1911, James Harris in 1919 and Robert Williams in 1928.  I have a letter from California law

enforcement asking Washington law enforcement whether he was the same guy.  They

concluded he was.
