Q-Systems Engineering is an Engineering consulting firm specializing in the development and application of Finite Elements techniques in Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering. Q-Systems has developed the Finite Element system software FEMsys. FEMsys is written in Delphi. It was during the interface development of this software that our components ElasticForm, QSWorldGraph, QSRulers, and QSLabel were developed.
Your overwhelming interest to these components has generated an independent division within Q-Systems that is now dedicated in component development for Delphi and C++Builder. All our components have been written in Object Pascal.
A brief description of Q-Systems' components for Delphi and C++Builder is presented here:
| ElasticForm | This is Q-Systems' top selling
component that adds the following capabilities to your form: 1) Resizes
all visual components (buttons, labels, tables, panels, etc.) as you
resize your form. 2) Keeps the initial size of your form constant as you
change screen resolution or font size. 3) Sets limits to the smallest
and largest size your form can take during resizing and maximizing. 4).
Sets the default position of your form when maximized. 5) Tiles a bitmap
to the background of the form. This applies to ALL forms,
including MDIforms where direct access to the form's background is not
possible. 6) Automatic INI file support; 7) Sizing
of run time added controls; 8) Run time creation of ElasticForm (for
dynamically created forms). 9) Multiple options for grid resizing. 10)
Option to enable or disable resolution independence.
The component is compatible with all versions of Delphi (including 7) and C++Builder and sells in a complete (with source) version for US$ 70.00 or in a registered (no source) version for US$35.00. ...more |
| QSWorldGraph | This is a user-defined world coordinates canvas.
Just set the desired ranges and draw using the component's
world-coordinate-drawing commands, or load a bitmap, a metafile, or a
JPEG file. It features horizontal and vertical rulers, zooming
capabilities, 100 levels of zoom nesting, and other goodies.
The component is compatible with all versions (up to 5) of Delphi and C++Builder and sells in a complete (with source) version for US$ 70.00 or in a registered (no source) version for US$30.00. |
| QSRulers | QSRulers includes a horizontal and
a vertical ruler. Both components provide the programmer with excellent
control over the range that they cover (i.e. Minimum and Maximum range
values), how they cover it, i.e. using actual inches or mm or using any
custom range, the way they divide and label their range and place the
divisions (i.e. which side of the ruler), the number of decimals, the
orientation of increase (i.e. Left to Right or Right to Left, Top to
Bottom or Bottom to Top), and the way they print. Finally QSRulers
provide a user specified 2-D or 3-D look.
The component is compatible with all versions of Delphi (up to 5) and C++Builder and sells in a complete (with source) version for US$ 50.00 or in a registered (no source) version for US$25.00. |
| QSLabel | QSLabel is an improved label component that supports subscripts and superscripts; mixed use of English and Greek characters (great for scientific applications); and horizontal and vertical orientation. QSLabel works with Delphi 3, 4 or, 5 and C++Builder 3 or newer and sells in a complete (with source) version for US$ 30.00 or in a registered (no source) version for US$15.00. |
| Transparent Desktop | Transparent Desktop
is a Windows utility program. If you
are bothered by the colored background block of the icon-labels on your
desktop, then this utility is for you. Especially useful if your desktop
wallpaper is defined by anything but a solid color background (i.e.
texture, picture, theme etc.) Transparent
Desktop will work well only if you turn off the Active Desktop.
The use of the program on your computer is free. The Object Pascal source is for sale for a fee of US$25.00 |
