Enter the qualifying race as normal and then press 'P' to pause the game. Now type "COMEFLYWITHME" or "COME FLY WITH ME", and the screen should flash. Now press 'P' again to unpause the game. You can now pull back on the joystick and fly into the air. Now press 'FIRE' to go forward, and the function keys to get views of yourself whizzing through the air.
