GENERAL NOTES: It is often helpful to find a small!room nearby when you need to sleep. Simply close the door and your party will be sufficiently safe.

Many times you will move so quickly that you will pass right by wall switches which open doors and secret panels.

Remember that running and closing a gate may be the ticket to killing monster parties. Doors and gates closing on a being will cause much damage.

After about eight steps down this hallway, start looking on your left for a secret button that will open a secret door on the left side of the tunnel which holds a compass. If you keep going down the hallway, you notice it branches to the left or keeps going. If you keep going, you'll run into three doors with locks and you don't yet have those keys, so your going to have to go search for them. Go back to the left branch that you passed by and take it. You enter a large open space where there are six areas you can go to. When you first enter the area, you find two doors your left, two in front, and two on your right. Let's start with the two on your left which will be identified on the map as doors 1 and 2.

Door 1 has this solution: hit switches to activate the teleport in each cell. After being teleported to every cell, the chest will finally be teleported outside the cell. Get the mirror out of the chest. Use the mirror on the EYE to open the secret door.

DOOR 2 has this solution: put a coin in the slot to open the door. You see a door on the other side of an open trap. Cast the spell (open door) at the door to open it. Then throw anything across the trap so that it lands on the other side and the trap will close up. Watch for the secret door switches near the staff. You'll need to get a key from this area. Look for one. I'm sure you got the needed key from area one also in the secret chamber.

Proceeding on around clockwise to the two doors that were originally in front of you:

DOOR 3 has this solution: keep to the outside of the matrix if you can. Use the compass to see when an invisible teleport has turned you around. In one of the alcoves you see a hidden button, which you press to open a secret room with a needed key.

DOOR 4 has this solution: hit the switch, then while still facing the wall, quickly move to the left four times and forward twice. If the door closes before you make it, go back and do it again until you make it. Drop a few heavy items and you'll move a little quicker. When you come to the next pit near a button (this is tricky), press the button and quickly turn left and throw any object into the teleport (this action takes some practice). If you're successful, the pit will close up and you can retrieve your thrown object. Next pit with a button: stand in front of the button and press it. Then quickly move backwards three times very quickly or you'll fall down into the pit. SAVE YOUR GAME FREQUENTLY! You'll need to get a key from this area beyond the traps (don't you hate those rock creatures?). Lure the rock creatures over a trap and make them fall in. Sometimes they are gone for good and sometimes they make it out.

And now to the last two doors that were originally on your right:

DOOR 5 has this two part solution: see that GEM shaped keyhole? Well, you must get a gem to open that door to get a needed key. Put an object on the pressure plate here to close the plate. Then walk across and press the switch in the wall to open the door. After fighting those menacing rock creatures, make it to the dead ends in the hallways, and search for a hidden switch which will open a secret room with the gem. Then use the gem to open the other door to get key.

DOOR 6 has this solution: it's really simple. Fight the monsters and find the key. There's no puzzles, just a few ugly blue creatures.

After you have the six keys, including the IMPORTANT RA-KEY, head for the doors. Don't open any doors except for the next four and then head downstairs.
