Loom

Whenever you see "***STORY***", it means that you should pay particular attention to the story to obtain the all-important four threads. It is easy to get the four threads by looking at the colors that the distaff releases during the sounds. It is a good idea to save your game before you see these stories in case you don't catch them the first time. Then you can restore your game and review a story. Also, you may have to cast the reverse of a spell (e.g. if the OPEN spell is "ECED" you would use "DECE" in order to get the reverse effect (i.e. CLOSE)).

At the beginning, look at the LEAF. Go down the mountain to the elder's tent. -story- Get the DISTAFF. Look at the EGG. Write down the OPEN sound. Now cast OPEN on the EGG. -story- Look at the loom and write down the SWAN sound. Next, go to the grave and look at the thorns. Go back to the screen that has trees and knotholes and look at all 4 trees. Now write down the LIGHT sound.

Go to the tent with the gold. Look into the darkness. Cast the LIGHT spell. Look at the spinning wheel and write down the STRAW TO GOLD sound. Look at the straw and then cast the STRAW TO GOLD spell. Go East to the tent that has the clothes. Look at the book and the flask. Write down the WATER sound. Now look at the boiling pot and write down the DYE sound. Look at the wool and then cast the DYE spell. Look at the heap. Cast the DYE spell.

Now go back up to the cliff where you started and look at the sky. Cast the OPEN sound (now that was obvious wasn't it?). -story- Go down to the dock and jump off the bridge. Get on the log. Keep and eye out for the waterspout. Write down TWIST sound. Cast the reverse of the TWIST sound.

Go to land and on into the forest. ***STORY*** Write down the CAMOUFLAGE sound. Leave the forest and then go on into the city. Find the men in the tower and cast the reverse of the CAMOUFLAGE sound. Go into the tower and look at the crystal. Now press the crystal. Look at the scythe. Write down the SHARPEN sound and then go to the left. Look at the bell and then ring it. Next, look at the sphere and write down the ILLUSION sound. Look at the crystal and then press it. Go to right and look at the bell. Now ring the bell. Leave the tower.

Go to the shepherds and cast the ILLUSION spell. Now go to the fence where the sheep are and look at and then poke the sheep. Write down the SLEEP sound and go to the house. Look sheep until you see the HEAL spell, which you should write down. Leave. Look at the sheep. Cast the DYE spell and the listen to the -story- Look at the gold. Cast the reverse of STRAW INTO GOLD. Cast STRAW INTO GOLD. Cast SLEEP on the dragon. Cast the reverse of STRAW INTO GOLD -story-

Go into the cave. You must wander around until you fall and see a pool of water. Look at the pool. Write down the REFLECT sound. Cast the WATER sound and then look at the sphere three times. Each time you'll receive a different image. Leave by going to the right. Now look at the winding path. Cast the reverse of TWIST. Leave. Look at the boy, Rusty. Cast SLEEP, then cast REFLECT, and go to and enter the blacksmiths guild.

Look at Mr. Stroke and the straw. -story- Get the distaff and look at the door. Cast the OPEN spell. Leave. Go down the steps. Look at the conversation. Now look at the sword. Cast the reverse of SHARPEN. -story- Look at the door and then cast the OPEN spell. -story- Look at the sphere. -story- Leave. Look at the cleric, Mandible. -story- Get the distaff and return to the room with the cages. Leave.

You fall into the large rift. Look at the big blue rift. Cast the HEAL spell. Now look at the red rift and enter it. Look at the skeleton. -story- Look at the skeleton and cast the HEAL spell. Return into the red rift and look at it. Cast the HEAL spell. Next, go to the blue rift and enter it. Look at the shepherds and cast HEAL. Go back into the blue rift and look at it. Now cast HEAL. Go left until you see the green rift and then go into it. Look at the man. Return to the green rift and enter it. Look at the green rift again and then cast the HEAL spell.

Continue left until you see a pond, which you will enter. -story- Go left until you see giant rift, which you will also enter. Now go right until you see the screen with the loom. Look at the loom. ***STORY*** write down the SILENCE sound. Look at the duck. Cast the reverse of SILENCE. ***STORY*** Write down the COOK sound. Look at the cooked duck and cast the reverse of the COOK spell. ***STORY*** Write down the RIFT sound. Look at the feather. Look at the loom again. Cast the RIFT spell. -story- Walk into the rift and look at yourself. Cast the SWAN spell and you will hear a -story- THE END.
