Prospector In The Mazes Of Xor

Prospector In The Mazes Of Xor was first distrusted by Logotron in 1989. The game was just called 'Xor' on other platforms. The Amiga version includes a second set of mazes not included in the other platform versions. It is my all time favorite Amiga game. There are no cheats available for this game. One that would have been very handy is a "no move limit" cheat, as if one can't solve a puzzle in 2,000 moves, one gets to start all over and there were times when I was very close to solving a level when the 2,000 moves limit expired and by the time I got back to the tricky part, I'd forgotten what I did or needed to do to initially solve the level or solve the tricky part near the end. A feature the game had was to show a replay of all of the moves it took to solve the puzzle. Unfortunately the replay info is gone as soon as one starts another level or quits the game. Sorely needed is the ability to save and load the solution, so that it could be reviewed as required, or uploaded for others to see how it was done. I suspect had Hidden Treasures put this functionality into the game, it would have been great free advertising and they would have been able to sell many more copies than they did. The truly sad part of this is that it would not have been very difficult to do.
