Walk west four times from the outlaws' camp to the hill overlooking Watling Street. Talk to Little John. Wait here until you see a man chasing a woman. Go down and stop him. Shoot the man and save the woman. This night, you'll have a dream and get an emerald heart.
Go to the overlook. Wait until a beggar appears. Stop him and give him some money and take his clothes. Go to town (in a beggar's disguise). Go to see the cobbler. Give the slipper to him. He'll give you a silver comb.
Go to the overlook. Stop the monk. Accept his challenge and kill him with the quarterstaff. Wear his clothes. There is a whistle and a pouch inside the clothes. Go to the swamp disguised as a monk. Blow the whistle and get inside the boat (use boat). At the entrance, talk to guard. Give the whistle and pouch to him. Answer his three riddles (check manual). Go inside. Go to refectory and talk to the Prior. Go to the Northwest corner to see the prisoner. Talk to the Prior. When he has left, release the rope and free the jester. Go to Southeast corner and search the rack and get the hand scroll. Get the goblet on the Prior's table. Mess up the table and the Prior will walk away. Get the verse. Search the rack to find the hand scroll. Go to prison. Give the verse to the jester. Follow the jester to the boat. Press the bottom left, top right and top left gargoyles to open the gate.
Go to the overlook. Threaten the priest with the bow. Get his clothes. Go to town. Go to St. Marys. Go inside. Get three sets of clothing from the laundry. See the Abbot and get the wine cask. Go to the castle. Give the guard a penny to see the three brothers. Go to the pub. Give the cask to the man in exchange for a new one. Look at the bucket that was lowered from the top. Win the guy in the None Man Morris game and get the amethyst. Open cellar door and open the empty barrel to enter the secret tunnel. Use the passage to reach St. Marys. Drink with the Abbot. Use the amethyst on the mug. When the Abbot is drunk, search his body and get some money. Go to the Abbot's room and look under the pillow to get the puzzle box.
Go to the tapestry and enter the tunnels again. Go to the peek hole outside the dungeon. Look inside and when the guards have left, go inside and put four pennies on the table. Get out immediately or you'll be caught. Wait for the guards to come back and take the money. They will use it to buy some wine. Go inside and open the trap door. Use the belts from the clothing to save the brothers. Get out of the tunnels through the cellar from the pub. Walk outside and bless the sheriff. Bring the three brothers to the widow. Get the golden net.
Look at the verse. Note the initials of all those who said something. Press the letters to open the puzzle box. In VOLUME's case, it was "FLAGRO", but it may not be the same for all games. Get the fire ring. Go to Willow to see Marian. Give her the hand scroll. Go inside the forest and wait for a pixie to appear. Use the golden net to catch him. You must throw the net in front of him. Ask him to bring you to the green man. Save your game before attempting his riddles. Some of the answers to his riddles are: comb, money, eye, and fur. You must get three riddles right and are allowed to make a few wrong guesses.
Go to the overlook and stop the archer. Give him money and get his clothes. Go to town. Go to the Fair. Talk to the scholar, and give him the hand scroll when the correct coat of arms is shown (check your manual). Enter the contest and win first place. To win, you'll need to split your opponent's arrow. Get the golden arrow.
The guards will be chasing you inside the forest. Go to the nearest grove as quickly as possible. Look at the grove and then click the hand icon on yourself. Use the hand code to enter the name of the grove. This turns you into a tree to evade the enemies.
Go to the overlook and stop the merchant. Search him until you find the jewel. Get his clothes. Use jeweler's rouge on yourself to change your hair color. Now go to the castle and see the sheriff. Give both to him. When he asks for more evidence, leave the room. He'll give up and follow you to the forest. Get all his belongings.
Blow your horn to call your men. Listen to their plans. Use Little John's plan. Wear the fire ring. Now go to the pub and talk to the man until he lets you into the cellar. Use the secret passage to reach St. Mary's. Take the passage to the North to the maze. Walk to the exit as quickly as possible. Open the door (you should hear the horn blowing) and save Marian. At the willow, use the emerald heart to heal Marian. She will tell you the password.
Transform into tree in any grove to evade enemies. Go to the overlook. Walk to the knight. Show him the password. Talk to him. When he swings his sword, shoot him. He is a false knight.
Go to the swamp and wear the water ring. Talk to the water spirits. They'll bring you a boat, which you use. Follow the water spirits to go through the fog. At the tower where the knight is held, get the ivy (this lets you exit the boat). Use the hand language to show GORT (the druid name for ivy). This makes the ivy grow so that you can climb up to the window and talk to the knight. Show him the password. Climb down carefully, watching out for falling stones!
Once you have climbed down and reached the boat, everything will be automatic. So, sit back and watch the end of the game. If you have gained enough support from the folks, you'll win the game or else that's the end of you. You might want to replay the game making wrong moves and seeing what will happen at the end.
