Dark Cloud 2 was released in the United States on February 19th, 2003. The Japanese version, Dark Chronicle, received thirty-five out of a possible forty rating in "Weekly Famitsu", the premier gaming magazine in Japan (i.e. the Japanese critics felt it was a really good game).
