Have her walk northeast away from the Blacksmith's Shop and go through the gate and cross the bridge. Walk to the end of the top of the hill past the sign pointing to Shadowmire and head down the hill on the opposite side. Head for the nearby house. She can talk to the lady of the house, who's out working in the garden, but she's rather unfriendly to Rynn and can be safely ignored. Enter the house and open the chest near the north wall for 18 gold. Head south from the farmer's house, then east. She'll be attacked by two sets of two Club Grull. One of the Grull from the second set will drop two Necklaces (70 gold) plus a sack with 1 gold. Have her turn north at the grove of trees on the left and go talk to the farmer, who's working outside near his house. He'll mention his wife, who went out looking for mushrooms and hasn't yet returned and she receives the "Find the Farmer's Wife" quest.

Head southwest away from the house past the tree grove and bear to the right. Turn east at the grassy mound and proceed northwest until she reaches the Mushroom Cave entrance. It's time to save (press the 'Start' button to access the menu) your progress! Press 'R1' to access the Hot Slots and rotate the health potion to the active position. You'll hear the sound of a Scavenger as she enters and she'll run into a one almost immediately. Melee combat in here is similar to what you've been using before. Slash, Slash, Stab, Roll Back and wait for the opponent's attack to miss, run back in and repeat the attack until the enemy is defeated. Heal as required. Continue along into the large chamber with a ledge running around it. Take out the next two enemies, who come after her, then switch to the bow and try to take out the one on the opposite ledge. It's nearly out of range for her current bow, but some of the shots will hit. Around seven or eight hits should be enough. Have her turn to the right and walk back along the edge of the ledge until she can't go any farther and you may or may not notice the path down to the area below. Follow it down and cross the small lake below by walking along the left edge. You can obtain the Bitter Touch sword with the following characteristics: 8 Attack, 300 Durability, Very Fast, Armor Piercing, can freeze enemies, from the greenish colored alcove behind the glowing blue mushrooms. Hot Slot it. Have her retrace her steps to get back up above and then continue back along the ledge and then proceed north.

She'll again hear the distinctive sound of a Scavenger as she enters the next area. You can roughly infer where they are coming from by where the sound is coming from. Have her continue generally north along the path. Head east down into the cave at the bottom of the large dirt mound. Three Scavengers are waiting for her here, and another one will come running in from the columned area as she's finishing them off. Two more come skulking down along the northeast hill. She will gain an experience level as she finishes them off. It has the added benefit of completely restoring her health and mana. Increase her Melee Skill when this happens (press 'Select', then 'R1' twice to access the Experience screen. Use the up/down arrows to access the various skills. Use the right/left arrows to increase/decrease individual skills. Press 'R1' or 'L1' to be prompted to save your selection). Send her back past the Scavenger corpses and turn southwest into the nearby small cave for the bag of 150 gold pieces next to the skeletons after taking out the Scavenger, who was guarding it. Have her exit the small cave and proceed back into the columned area and take the Steel Club from the pedestal, then pick up 84 gold from the nearby chest to the southwest, and Health Elixir from the northeastern chest.

The Steel Club is more powerful than her Bitter Touch sword, but slower to recover. You should probably only switch to it if the sword becomes heavily damaged. Continue up the hill to the northeast out of the area and east across the ledge. If you didn't deal with the two Scavengers before, she'll have to do so now. Be careful as you move her along the circular ledge, as it narrows here and there, and falling would not be good. She'll need to jump across in one place. Try to keep her between the wall and her enemies during the battles. When she reaches the next tunnel, have her head to the left and further along the ledge. There's an easily overlooked alcove containing a Scavenger and 150 gold pieces, in the next passageway. She'll encounter the farmer's wife after battling through a couple more Scavengers. Speak to her and continue forward until Rynn comes to a doorway of alabaster rocks. Have her push the rocks out of the way and head out of the cave. The wife will tentatively step out from the cave entrance, offer her thanks, and then depart. Have Rynn follow her back to the farm. She'll stop and stand near the farmer. Send Rynn over to speak to the farmer to receive 300 gold pieces.
