The quests of "Locate Ravenshold" and "Restore the Gate to Surdana" have just been acquired. Fly just beyond the last hut and land near the Trading Post complex. Walk under the hut and notice the barrel, which like all of them around here are iron-clad and impervious to her attempts to break them, however there are some breakable wooden crates to be found. Speak to Captain Fandrill, standing next to the hut, to receive his thanks and a Life and Full Mana potions. Have her head upstairs into the hut and open the chest to the right side of the entrance for 37 - 63 gold. The docks contain a few crates, which can be smashed, for 0 - 34 gold. There's nothing particularly interesting in the ship save a map of Ravenshold inside the door to the cabin and a Potion of Life on a crate on the left near the door. A crate at the end of the raised platform on the dock yields 0 - 45 gold when broken. Now send her back under the hut, which Captain Fandrill stands in front of and return to the area where Arokh dropped her off. Head northwest past the tree, then northeast up the hill and proceed toward the lighthouse. Have her climb the steps to the nearby hut and open the chest for sacks containing 48 - 58 gold. Walk around the outside catwalk and jump over the railing to land on the approach to the lighthouse. Walk up to and climb the ladder to the lighthouse. A Full Mana potion can be obtained from the nearby chest. A Mithril Club lies out in the open near the stack of three crates, but she probably doesn't have room for it in her inventory. She can receive the thanks of the man standing nearby if you wish. Arokh is probably hovering in the dock area. Return there and stand near the stairs to the raised platform and call Arokh, who can land on the raised platform. Head up there, mount and save your game, then fly north along the river. There are two Explosive Firing Crossbows and two Blackwings to be contended with just up ahead. A Crossbow is to be found on each side of the river while the Blackwings hover overhead. Destroy the crossbows first, then target the Blackwings. Retreat to the Trading Post area and save after taking significant damage as it's very easy to be overwhelmed. Once the path has been cleared, note the bridge across the river just beyond and the enemies below. There are cave systems on both sides of the bridge. You can have Arokh go flame them now or do so later. Follow the river to reach the Fortress City Ravenshold and the map entry for Ravenshold has been added to your map.
The Ravensholders offer her an uneasy greeting. After they allow her to enter, fly over the gates and past the far gates to the east, then into the circular Gateway to Surdana. The map entry for the Gateway to Surdana has been added to your map. After it's activated, they can now return to Surdana at any time now, by simply flying into the Gateway. The "Return to Ravenshold to speak with Ranwulf" quest has been received, so fly back over the gates and to the southwest, where Chief Ranwulf's Lodge lies. Enter and speak to him and she receives the "Barrier Plans Book" and the new quest: "Take the Half-Men's Plan Book to the Wizard Zeggoro", as well as the Optional Quest: "Consult with Tashvek in Ravenshold". After all the conversation, exit from his lodge, then proceed straight north and then enter the hut and speak to Tashvek. She now has the two additional Primary Quests of "Explore the Grull's Camp" and "Speak to Serris at the Northmen's Outskirts Camp". Fly over the eastern gate of the fortress, then over the transport gate to Surdana until Arokh recognizes the Wizard's Tower. Land and enter the tower to meet Zeggoro. He shows her the gate she needs to activate and asks to see the book. Then he levitates and consults the spirits, who don't seem to be too happy with him, and she receives the "Find the 'Visionary Amethyst'" from Krozvokt's Eye, "Find the 'Blood from a Pagan Altar'", "Find the 'Blade of Purest Gold'", "Find the 'Ashes from a Warrior Fallen'", twice stirred with a sword of purest gold, and the "Seek out Information in Ravenshold" quests. Head back outside through either side door and get back on Arokh and return to Ravenshold via a westerly course.
Land and enter the Blacksmith's building to the west. Speak with him for the "Search for Sebborns' Journal in Daemog's Hunting Grounds" quest, and sell off any unneeded equipment and repair her weapons and armor. She can return to the Trading Post and pick up the Mithril Club if she couldn't take it before. If so, return here and sell it. Follow a northwardly path along the river back toward the Trading Post. Land near the campsite on the west side of the bridge if you've already taken care of the Grull in the area. If you didn't, take back off and do so now. Search the campsite for 145 gold, then head into the trees to the west for 36 gold. Head east and cross the nearby bridge. You should be able to see a cave from the bridge. Get 46 - 90 gold from the four barrels near the entrance. Pick up 45 - 81 gold from the corpses of the enemies, that Arokh got. Enter and take out as many of the nearby enemies as possible with her bow. Get 58 - 65 gold pieces from the corpses. There's 0 - 35 gold in one of the two barrels next to the two exploding barrels. There's an Ice Grull just beyond. They can freeze her solid, however she can still roll while frozen. Continue east and take a zig zag path to the Ice Grull and give him a hot slice or two. Go through the doorway and smash the two barrels for a sack of 6 - 25 gold pieces. The chest beyond contains sacks of 17 - 34 gold. Target the enemy near the glowing red barrier cage above with her bow and take it out. Continue east down the lower path and take out the three enemies who try to stop her. Get the Full Mana potion from the chest and the bag of 7 - 88 gold from the two barrels. Just a bit farther and the path starts to head up. Three axe toting Wartoks attempt to block her way. There's a barrel with 0 - 50 gold next to an exploding barrel in the vicinity of the glowing red barrier cage. She's well aware that she shouldn't go near it now as she says "This barrier looks dangerous! Maybe there's another way". Save and head east from the red barrier to reach a chasm with an item on the other side. She asks "How'm I going to get to that?" Turn back around and head south through the doorway.
Get close enough to the distant Wartok to where she can target it with her bow. However have her switch to her sword before it gets too close and finish it off with that. There's an Axe Grull and an Ice Grull just a bit beyond. Get 50 - 157 gold from the four nearby barrels. Take out the Axe Grull just before the end of the path. Get 20 - 58 gold from the three barrels. When she reaches the stone ruins at the end of the path, Rynn remarks that "This floor doesn't seem very stable". Get 35 - 45 from the barrels, then equip her bow and have her back up a safe distance, then shoot the exploding barrels to blow out the floor. Head around the side of the ruins to find a greenish stone with a rather cryptic marking (a circle with an arrow pointing north rectangles for west and south, and what appears to be the number two to the east. Just around the bend, there's a chest with a Life Potion inside. Walk back around and save your game as it's quite possible to land in the barrier, which will entail a restart, rather than inside it, which will allow you to continue the game. Walk in from the east side to land inside the glowing red barrier on the pressure plate, that shuts it off. She'll only appear blue as long as she stays in the cage. The blue light, which shines to the east, has formed a bridge across to the item, which is a Hoarfrost bow. Recross the bridge and head west, drop down, then head for the exit. Head across the bridge past the fire to the statue with the four skulls near the barred cave entrance. The greenish stone with the marking in the cave they just left, is part of the combination she'll need to press the buttons in the required order to open the barred door to the west.
