Strategy
Your initial front line should consist of Tidus, Yuna, and Wakka. First have Tidus use Cheer. Yuna should cast Reflect on the Sanctuary Keeper. Wakka can just physically attack it to cause Darkness. Tidus should now cast Slow. Yuna's following turns should be used to have her cast Protect on everyone. If the keeper uses Protect on itself, have Yuna remove it with Dispel. Once its Hit Points drop below 20,000, it'll dispel Protect from your characters.
The Sanctuary Keeper's attack pattern is as follows: Photon Wings on its first move. Use Esuna afterwards if needs be. Its normal attack is used on the second and third turns. Heal as neccessary and have Yuna start summoning aeons, using their Overdrives when available. Sanctuary Keeper's Mana Breath fourth turn will cause 3,000 Hit Points of damage upon a single character. Shell and Mdef +20% will be helpful against this attack as will Auron's use Magic Break. Use a Hi-Potion if so, else be ready to resurrect some of your characters with Phoenix Down potions. Have Auron hit it with Armor Break before its fifth turn, which is used for healing, and where it may use the Curaga White Magic spells Protect, Regen, or Esuna. Tail Sweep will be done next but it's not part of the pattern. It causes about 500 Hit Points of damage and is always a counter attack.
