Alexander Murray Duguid

Alexander Murray Duguid was born on April 24, 1839, the son of John Duguid and Helen Stewart.  He married Ellen Donovan who was born in 1845 in Ohio on January 1, 1862.  Alexander died June 7, 1916 in Ray, Indiana.  Ellen preceded him in death on December 7, 1908.  They had 6 children:

1. Barton A. Duguid born on October 26, 1862 in Ray, Indiana, married Mary Arabella Blosser, died in 1942.
2. Elsie Jane Duguid born on November 12, 1864 on the old cemetary farm in Ray, Indiana, married in about 1890 to James Isenhower near Fremont, Indiana, died in 1920.
3. Eva A. Duguid born on June 18, 1870 near Ray, Indiana, married Ed Work in Toledo, Iowa, died in Hartford, Michigan in 1956.
4. John Warren Duguid born April 24, 1876, married Bertha Severin, died in Torrington, Wyoming on January 14, 1922.
5. William H. Duguid born April 10, 1877 near Fremont, Indiana, married Mabel Gandrum, died on July 4, 1922 in the Cameron Hospital.
6. Clyde Alexander Duguid born June 6, 1879 near Ray, Indiana, married Linnie Wilkerson, died on March 26, 1965.
