The 2nd class entrance on the boat deck was the main access to the lifeboats for the 2nd class and the after 3rd class. The entrance house included a stairway that descended to F-deck as well as an elevator.

1. The starboard wall split and collapsed in.
2. A hole in the stairwell landing looks through the back wall of the smoke room to the smoke room floor.
3. The raised back wall of the 1st class smoke on the boat deck folded aft but still features the three portholes.
The port wall is generally intact. The fore wall is smashed and the starboard wall is caved inward and split. The weather shields for the doors are still in place. The boat deck aft of the entrance caves-in down to A-deck.
The elevator machinery housing on top fell in sideways, smashing the elevator walls below. The four big access panels facing upward are open, exposing the machinery within.
The aft Davit to life boat #16 lays on the port deck hanging over the side.
The starboard 70' (20 meters) of Boat Deck alongside the 1st class smoke room at A peeled up and hangs over the side, exposing the floor joists over the A-deck promenade.
