The 1st class Smoke Room was the prime gathering place for men. In the break-up, the sidewalls and roof were pulled off forward, exposing the floor. The back wall and fireplace are smashed. All of the floor tiles appear to be gone. A section of support beam and 4 floor joists lays on the port side.

The Palm Court and Veranda Cafes were the informal meeting spots for the first class. They had a garden cafe feel in the layout and decor.

The port side cafe remains but the roof (boat deck) is slightly twisted and sagging aft.
The Starboard cafe is smashed as the floor is jammed together, the ceiling is jerked back, and the walls are crushed. Much of starboard A-deck has been ripped off.
B and C decks on the starboard side have been flipped up and back. This also jams A deck back up under the remaining boat deck.

The boat deck is twisted aft on the starboard side and almost rests against the A deck crane. The crane is still present and precariously hangs over the side.
The turbine room uptake just behind the engines is an opening roughly 20 feet square (6.25 meters). It runs from the turbine room upward to become the 4th funnel uptake. The side walls are disturbed and a number of long strips of sheet steel hang down the uptake.
