1995 Ford Thunderbird LX 4.6L V8 4R70W automatic 3.27:1 TracLoc Rear

Track Elevation approx. 6000 ft ASL

Stock with K&N Filter ET= 17.18 sec @ 78.09 mph

Ported MAF and Removed Intake Silencer ET=17.18 @ 80.68 mph

Removed Third Cat and Installed Dynomax Intermediate pipe. ET=17.10 @ 82.24 mph

Ported and Recalibrated MAF, Removed Third Cat, Dynomax Intermediate pipe, Gutted Stock Air Tube/Resonator, New Trans with Shift Kit and 11" Ford TC. ET=16.81 @ 82.96 mph

Above plus, 3.5" Mondo intake tube, Flowtech Raptor Turbo mufflers, Customized EEC chip. ET=16.64 @ 85.40 mph. It was an 80°F temp. This is about a 38 HP increase over stock.

7-7-2000 UPDATE Mods: '99 Lightning 80mm MAF, InjectTech '95 EEC w/Octane option, 3" RichardM Intake tube, Jerry W. transmission and Mustang Converter, no third cat and dual turbo mufflers on Dynomax pipes. ET=16.69 @ 85.50. Outside air was 95°F. The MONDO II tube goes on next and the 70mm TB is on the way. Calculated for altitude and temp, 15.69 At 90.1 mph.

9-16-2000 UPDATE Mods as above with 3.5" MondoII intake tube and some good air. Shifting at about 5400 rpm .ET=16.55 @ 85.12 mph. Air temp was 75°F.

10-8-2000 At Ennis TX Fun Ford Weekend, cool air at around 55°F and 500 feet above sea level. All mods up to last update are in use. ET 15.18 @ 90.13 mph. 1-2shift at 5200 rpm and the 2-3 at 5500 rpm. ELEVATION really helps. This calculates to about 50 horeses more at the wheels.
