Date Line 01/09/2001

An update to the KMT 1800 TS1 controller software is now available for download. The Update deals with the clearance functionality of overlaps during preemption. This change is an enhancement of overlap control and not a fix. The revision Date is : 01/09/01

In addition, we are looking forward to soon making available the new "Flash" programming software. This software will require the revision "B" 1800 CPU board. More details will follow soon...... Keep checking back ! 

Date Line 10/18/2000

At last... Controller Firmware Up-Date Downloads are available. This will allow for our customers to up-grade the firmware in both the KMT1700 & KMT1800 controllers. The files are in "ZIP" format and each contain complete sets for both Eproms in each up-grade application.

Also, look for new features in the KMT1800 controller. One of the new features, (available soon) will allow for "on the fly" up-grading of the KMT1800 firmware through serial communications. The new revision will incorporate "Flash" memory in place of standard Eproms. 

In addition... Back by popular demand... We've added the Midi files to the Main Selections, except this time we have included controls. (For the people who just don't like it.) They are at the bottom of each page.

We at Kentronics are very excited about the responses we've received over the KMT1800L Closed Loop System TS1/TS2 NEMA Traffic Signal Controller. So far, over the past two years, we have shipped over 200 1800 controllers and have not had any returned for hardware failure! This shows the refinement and dedication our engineers have put forth in designing and developing the most dependable NEMA Traffic Controller available today. This is where we'll announce the most recent additions to our web site. If you've visited us before and want to know what's changed, take a look here first.

Also, as you can see, we've finally up-dated our web site and hope to provide download capabilities for up-dates to the K-Central Software as well as the KMT 1700 & KMT 1800 Controller Firmware. We have also changed our E-Mail address to better serve our customers: kentron@flash.net .
