The Downward Spiral Of Medical Corruption!
The Impulse Was ......To Help!  - The Impulse Now ......Is To Drug!

Of all the people on this planet, surely those who
pledge to help their fellow man, particularly the sick,

should be seen as our heroes -- and indeed nurses and
doctors have been our heroes down through the ages.

In this age their impulse to help has been corrupted!    Here is the story in both small detail and large scope.

In times past, mother, and more often grandmother, was the primary source of healing help. The main treatments, then, were from the garden and the Bible!  And what has taken their place?    The Answer =  "Chemical test tubes and psychiatry! "

Of all the various purposes of psychiatry, the most fundamental is that man must adapt to his environment. On the surface this may seem as reasonable philosophy. That is what makes it so insidious. The truth is that man MUST adapt his environment to his own needs, and whenever man becomes the effect of nature, eventually he loses.

Animals may have to adapt to live in their environment. Some men may also adapt to their environment, but if ALL men adapted, there would be no history or future. Some men adapt the environment to the needs of man.

These are the people who forge the forward path to survival.

Psychiatry teaches us to accommodate -- and the tool is a drug. Two of the primary diseases of psychiatry are hypertension and depression -- both treated with drugs, even though the actual causes are never addressed with those drugs.

The pyschs have now reached their influence into all medical practices since more antihypertensive drugs and antidepressant drugs are prescribed by family physicians than psychiatrists. These are drugs that hide the symptoms, or help us cope without addressing the cause. THIS is the psychiatric philosophy!

Whatever a drug may do physiologically, it ALWAYS destroys life, or helps us hide from realty, it never cures. Sometimes it is necessary to destroy some cellular life, so the whole body can heal itself, but it is never helpful to hide from reality.

It is a long and rather winding path in logic from the man-must-adapt-to-his-environment philosophy to the widespread use of drugs, but you see this adapt-philosophy permeating much of our society. In medicine it takes the form of management-rather-than-cure. Modern medicine sets its goals to make the patient comfortable and to manage the disease so as to prolong life -- and incidentally the insurance payments.

I once met a lady ... Janet is her name. She is a busy mother with three young children. She told me of an event at her doctor’s office and I’d like to retell it.

Some time ago she looked into health insurance for her family. She found that a policy that seemed to provide good coverage would cost her $4,800 per year to insure the family of five. The policy required a $250 deductible for each of the family members, meaning that the first $250 of health care costs, for each person, each year, would NOT be paid by the insurance. Then, the insurance would pay 80% of any further costs, including very large prospective payments for catastrophic problems.

For the first few years of her marriage, they didn’t have enough money to buy health insurance, but they did spend money on vitamins and other prevention actions. By the time they could afford the insurance Janet realized that she had never come close to the $250 deductible in any year for any of the family. In those several years she would have paid $4,800 per year so that someone
with less interest in prevention could run up large hospital bills -- paid for from Janet’s insurance premium.

You understand that health insurance is ALWAYS a losing proposition for the healthy in society, and actually encourages the sick to get sicker because insurance is nothing more than a reward for failure, and a penalty for winners.

Janet decided to continue through life without health insurance. But, she was quite willing to take a kid to the doctor if she had a worry. Many people who avoid health insurance also avoid doctors and lend to the statistics that claim that those without health insurance are sicker than those who have it.

She wouldn’t take a kid just because of a runny nose, but a fever AND a runny nose might be enough for a doctor’s visit. She took her two-year old son into the doctor. After a brief but apparently thorough exam, he wrote out a prescription and told her "don’t worry, just give him this.  "She asks: "What is it?"

The doctor actually mumbled the first time. She repeated the question, politely. He mumbled again. Perhaps this has happened to you?  She repeated the question. He finally said: "Oh, don’t worry, he’s fine, this prescription won’t hurt anything. In fact, if he doesn’t get worse, you don’t even have to give it to him."

Now, that may seem like an answer to some, but not to me it isan't. She asked again what the prescription was for. You see, she tried to read it and there was nothing on that paper that was legible to her. The doctor FINALLY said, "Well, if I don’t write a prescription your insurance won’t pay!" Apparently he didn’t know that she didn’t have health insurance.

She discovered that the doctor HAS to find something wrong with the patient in order for the insurance to pay. She discovered that the fees charged by the doctor have a great deal to do with how serious he describes the "illness." Since every illness is moving in the direction of having a book-approved drug to manage the condition, the more powerful the drug he prescribes, the more serious the disease must have been, and the larger the insurance payment.

Somewhere, deep inside, this doctor may still have an impulse to help. He feels, personally, some affection for his patients and wants to help. But he has bought into a corrupt system that forces him to dance to the tune of the government and insurance company rules for payments.

How would you like to go to a doctor whose income depended on his ability to find serious things wrong with you! How would you like to go to a doctor who can earn more money by managing your disease than curing it ?  Welcome to modern medicine!

What about a welfare-mother, with six sick kids who qualify for 100% insurance coverage, going to the doctor? The doctor sees her as an endless stream of earnings, because none of the drugs will cure, and because that type of patient invariably continues to practice such an unhealthy life style that she and her children will always be sick.

Doctors have come a long way since those early days. They were our hero healers on a pedestal. They fell off that pedestal; all the government’s men can not put Humpty Dumpty together again! Doctors now are more often our villains than our heroes!  Causing no effect means no insurance payment at all!

There is one sure way to cause an effect and that is to use a drug -- and if the drug won’t cause sufficient effect, then use a more powerful drug. That is the direction modern medicine is going, has gone.  The stronger the drug, the more serious must have been the disease, and therefore the higher can be the fee and the more second and third visits can be justified.  No-drug or any non-approved drug threatens the doctor with no-fee, or even malpractice! He has to use the book of standard treatments.

People suffer from the madness of doctors in the privacy of their funeral homes, while doctors try to escape the guilt of their sins by playing golf! Psychiatrists have one of the highest suicide rates of any group. Long ago they realized, deep in their hearts, that they had no help to offer. The regular medical doctor is fast moving in that same direction. He, like the psychiatrist, is desperately trying to cause an
effect, any effect, and now with government and insurance encouragement, he prescribes book-approved drugs so as to escape any pangs of conscience for a wrong personal judgment.

He doesn’t have to be personally responsible if he gives the government-approved drug for the symptoms he sees. And, who can come along later, when the patient is dead, and prove that his observation of those symptoms was incorrect?

When a doctor looses a profitable patient,  he can blame it on the patient for lack of patient compliance. That’s another term you will hear the doctors talking about, among themselves. They all "know" that the real problems with patients is that the patients won’t follow the doctor’s orders -- that’s why psychiatrists thought they had it so good when they got the power to lock up THEIR patients, and inject them with drugs against their wills.

Even family physicians sometimes resort to committing a patient to a psychiatric ward just so they can get them locked up and ensure patient compliance with the drug injections. Psychiatrists have the power to intervene in your life. They have the power to get the police to take you to a hospital where you will be tied down while your body is injected with drugs, against your will. Family physicians haven’t been able to get that power openly, but they are achieving it through the role which
government and insurance companies are now playing in the standards of health treatment.

Long ago doctors may have had a noble purpose, but in the past fifty years or so they have become mere prostitutes, accepting money and performing as requested. Since the patient so seldom pays, the prostitutes do the bidding of the man with the money.

Do you want to test YOUR doctor?  Make a copy of this, take it to him and ask him to read it.  Insist that he give you an opinion.  He probably won’t like this issue! Then compare! Give this to your friends and neighbors. Find out how many of them would agree with this real truth.
