3. We've set up our classes so that young and old can study together. Beginners and advanced students can move to separate mats where instructors will pace the lessons to their level.

6. At the Young Hong Karate Institute we give you more than just karate. We were the first in the area to offer Black Belt Classes, Little Dragons Classes, Advancing Tiger Classes, a Demo Team and specialized topical seminars. Our new Leadership Team teaches students to be leaders throughout their lives, not just in the Martial Arts. We organize Tournaments, give back to the community with Fund Raisers, march in Parades and sponsor Movie Nights, Pool Parties and other social get togethers for both our students and parents.

7. When it comes to kids in school, the no-tolerence rule for fighting is a real hardship. A bully can bloody your kid's nose and he can... stand and take it. Or face suspension for hitting back. We offer some alternatives, ways to diffuse situations, to talk through trouble. …And our idea of "Peace Through Superior Firepower" includes an arsenal of arm bars and holds to stop fights without returning the punching and kicking!
