MODEL 1862 BINOCULAR AND 1863 TRINOCULAR
Versatile, professional microscopes w/superb, computer
designed optical system and skillfully engineered
mechanical integrity. Modular interchangeable
components are designed to meet the stringent
requirements of medical, dental and veterinary
use in colleges, laboratories and hospitals.
SEIDENTOPF BINOCULAR/TRINOCULAR

--> Inclined head, fully rotatable through 360°,
with set screw. Fully prismatic construction.
--> Interpupillary adjustment (53mm to 72mm).
--> Diopter adjustment on left tube.
--> Seidentopf Trinocular Head 100% light to
eyepieces or 100% to photo station.

OPTICAL SYSTEM

--> DIN WF 10x eyepieces, paired, one w/pointer.
--> Objectives are 45mm DIN parfocal, achro-
matic, parcentered, color coded: 4X
(0.10N.A.), 10X(0.25N.A.), 40X(0.65N.A.),
oil immersion 100X(1.25N.A.). 40X and
100X are spring retractable.
--> Quadruple ball-bearing nosepiece; positive
detent stops for parcentration.
--> Optional plan objectives.
--> Optional Phase Contrast Kit.
--> Optional darkfield.

CONDENSER & ILLUMINATION SYSTEM

--> Pre-centered 1.25N.A., Abbe condenser
w/iris diaphragm, swing-out filter holder
and blue filter, rack and pinion focusing.
--> Centerable condenser mount accepts dark-
field and phase contrast accessories.
--> Built-in base illumination w/variable
rheostat for adjusting light intensity.
6V, 20W halogen lamp. Heavy-duty CSA approved
3-wire power cord and switch.

FOCUSING SYSTEM

--> Low position coaxial coarse and fine focus
controls.

STAGE

--> Large 120mm x 140mm stage.
--> Graduated, low-profile mechanical stage,
w/low position coaxial controls, rides
on ball-bearing guides to guarantee
precise movement through the 40mm(y)
by 75mm(x) range of travel.

FRAME

--> Streamlined, ruggedly constructed cast
metal, stain resistant enamel finish.
