Q. Our Siamese kitten likes to chew on electrical cords. How can we stop him?
Put your kitten in a closed room with a few unplugged cords and cat toys, and have some treats and a squirt gun or "shake can" ( a can of coins) handy. When he chews on the cords, squirt the gun or shake the can and firmly say, "No!" Reward him when he plays with the toys. Be consistent, and he should catch on soon.

Is your child the inquisitive one?
Does he/she pick up things and then place them in their mouth?
Have you thought about the dangers of them putting electrical cords & wires into their mouth and suffering burns caused by contact to the exposed wires when they bite through the protective covering.
