The MEK 80 Series is a complete line of single channel pulse modulated photoelectric controls. These controls use a pulse counting technique that offers extreme immunity to noise and ambient light. Because of this technique response time is fast and accurate.
MEK 80 Controls are available in both standard and high speed models. The MEK 80-S standard version is characterized by low scanner LED current (3mA). This results in efficiency and long LED life, without sacrificing distance. The MEK 80-H high speed version is characterized by a very fast 1 millisecond response time and low hysteresis.
MEK 80 Controls are available with any of five modes of time delay (see chart) and relay, open collector, or triac outputs. Any of the MEKontrol Scanners of thrubeam pairs can be used with these controls.
