Description

The LLC2 Series of Liquid Level Controls are of the dual probe type. The probes are used to establish two levels of detection. In one mode, when the level falls below the lower probe, a pump is signaled and the liquid is restored to the upper probe. In the other mode, when the liquid rises to the upper probe, a valve is opened lowering the level to the lower probe. Both modes offer an electromechanical relay output for greater reliability.

OPERATION

MODE OF OPERATION A- Drain Type (Pump Down Mode): As long as liquid does not come in contact with the upper probe, the relay contacts remain in an unenergized position. If liquid rises to the upper probe level, the relay contacts will transfer to the energized position. If the liquid drops below the lower probe level, the relay will immediately de-energize.

MODE OF OPERATION B- Fill Type (Pump Up Mode): As long as liquid remains between the upper and lower probes, the relay contacts will remain in an unenergized position. If liquid drops below the lower probe, the control relay will be energized. The relay contacts will remain in the energized position until the level of the liquid reaches the upper probe. When this occurs, the relay immediately de-energizes.

Example Part Number: LLC26B1F100N is a dual probe level control with a 230 VAC input, fill type logic and a fixed sense resistance of 100k ohms. Its mounting dimensions are 3-5/8" by 2-1/8" on center. LLC26B1AN has an adjustable sense resistance to 100,000 ohms.
