DESCRIPTION
The PHS Series AC Phase Control is an ideal method of changing lamp intensity, varying the speed of a fan moto, or controling the temperature of a heater. The effective output voltage is adjusted with an accessory external potentiometer suitable for line voltage applications; units are available for 120VAC or 230VAC systems, and output ratings of 1, 6, 10 or 20 amperes are available. The PHS easy to use series connection and encapsulated circuitry offers flexibility and reliability.

CONNECTION	OPERATION
	Upon application of power (switch closure), effective output voltage can be varied by changing the external adjustment value. As the external resistance increases, the effecive output voltage decreases. The inverse is also true.
