Hi I just wanted to tell you that my friend and I love Anthony so much. Thanks for the amazing site and tons of information. Joe from Empire Records rocks forever!!! - Material Girl :)  Tracey

Anthony:  You just keep getting better and are finally receiving well deserved recognition with a Golden Globe for "Without A Trace " in 2004 and an Emmy in 2002 for your fantastically funny role in "Fraiser."  You are the best!!  foxfire

I've met many stars; John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Jack Lemmon, etc.....I am not star struck, I was just lucky to be working for the media at the time.  I've never written a fan letter or asked for an autograph, so writing this is odd for me.  My favorite scene with Anthony is in Garden of Redemption when he is playing soccer and he notices the heroine looking at him.  That look was priceless and my heart jumps each time I watch the film.  I loved him in Chameleon and thought I was the only one who really appreciated him.  I am so glad that he has a great following.  Thanks for your website. Anne

I think the ultimate compliment that can be given this actor is that HE REALLY IS the same guy that plays Daphne's debauched brother on "Frazier." What range to be able to play that part and then do a serious role like in "Lantana" and be just fabulous in both. Bob & Joan Magruder

Hello everyone, and Happy New Year. What a nice surprise today to open the Arts section and see Anthony's face on the front cover. Nice to read about Anthony again, who has been missing from the entertainment scene for a while now. I saw Lantana during the Toronto film festival and it's every bit as good as the critics say. Terrific performance. Val

Hi Guys,
Thought you might like to know that a couple of weeks ago, the Australian Film Institute Awards were on and Anthony LaPaglia was a presenter. He presented the Award for Best Actress to Pia Miranda for "Looking for Alibrandi"  which also won best Aussie movie of the Year.  They showed some great clips from the movie. AL looked GORGEOUS. He was real excited to be able to give the award to Pia. Big hugs, smiles etc. Was a real bonus as it wasn't advertised he'd be there. Cheers. Jill.

"Great pages you have done!  Could you/anyone tell me more information about Anthony? Has he ever been a teacher, or is that only his education? Where is he living now? When did he move to USA? Does he still do acting in theatres or only in movies?  Why there is so little new information about him in the net?" Maria

"Thanks for all this information about LaPaglia. I'm from Finland and a great fan of his. Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to find all of his movies and any news about him from here. Keep up the good work!"  Anna

"I SAW THAT MOVIE (Looking For Alibrandi) YESTERDAY.  I LIKED IT VERY MUCH.  AS USUAL MR. LAPAGLIA LOOKED HOT!   I AM ITALIAN SO I APPRECIATED THE MOVIE."  KIM

"Hello everyone... had the privilege of seeing "House of Mirth" during the Toronto Film Festival last week. Some of you might be familiar with the story as it's based on the Edith Wharton novel. Unfortunately none of the cast were at the screening I attended, only the British Director Terence Davies (Distant Voices-Still Lives). The film is part financed by Showtime, so expect to see it on your TV screen 25 mins - perhaps a two parter.   To quote: "In this magnificent adaptation of Edith Wharton's 1905 novel, Terene Davies recreates the social prejudice and moral hypocrisy of upper-class New York society at the turn of the century with exquisite beauty and subtle emotion. The film details a young socialite's (Gillian Anderson) tragic decline into obscurity and disgrace".   Anthony plays a supporting role and does not have many scenes. He is dastardly when 'we' first encounter him, part way through he turns into that almost classic 'evil' Victorian gentleman, but towards the end, he shows us a softer more sympathetic side to his character. Nice acting. Eric Stoltz, Dan Aykroyd, Laura Linney, Elizabeth McGovern and others support also. Gillian Anderson is very good (you forget about Scully). The film is beautiful to look at - the costumes, the sets and the period detail. The Director has captured the feel of the times." Val..

Donna: "For a couple of years now I have been checking out your website on Anthony Lapaglia. You have done a great job in keeping up with the new information about him."

Lauren: "I liked your site!  It was one of the only ones I could find about Anthony LaPaglia!"

Andy: "I am happy to be able to have a forum where I can say how much I think of Anthony Lapaglia's gifts...I saw him in "Betsy's Wedding" recently and discovered the joys of renting videos afterwards. After seeing "Bulletproof Heart", I was sold. This is an actor of great empathy; I believe this is why he reaches all of us. He is real. Thank you, Mr. Lapaglia, for the joy you bring your fans. And thanks, foxfire, for a great connection!" JCS

Joy: "Hi there!! I was so glad to stumble on to your site!! I am an absolute fan of  Jonathan LaPaglia's!! Thanks for putting a nice section on him."

Claudia: "There is an interesting info about the upcoming TV-movie "Black and Blue" with Anthony LaPaglia and Mary Stuart Masterson.  By the way, your site is very informative I really like it. Greetings from Switzerland"  Thanks for the tip Claudia...

Edward: "Excuse me for asking, but you make no mention of Anthony's brother Jonathan (star of "7 Days"). just thought I mention that as I watched a movie this morning "Past Tense". I noticed how much the two looked alike. Well anyway you do have a nice site."

Kay:  "You probably already know this, but AL starts Aug.23, 1999 on a movie for CBS called "Black & White".  Mary Stuart Masterson is a chronically abused wife and AL is her NYC cop husband." Thanks for the tip Kay...

Emily:  "Congrats on your excellent website which I've just visited!"

Gwen:  "What great updates on your page for "Lansky"!  It looks great!  ....  I think the thing that struck me about A.L. is his honesty in the part he plays.  The first film I saw was "Paperback Romance" where due to the "twist of fate" working against Gia, his love, he showed such honesty in scenes with her.  Wow! "

Roz: " I sincerely hope Anthony considers the stage as the place to be.  I like many of his films  but now (they) must hold up against Eddie.  I shall be looking forward to the Woody Allen film.  I "luved" Chameleon, fabulous characters and Brilliant Lies was a very clever vignette with it's manipulation of the viewer.  I have watched Garden of Redemption again and enjoy that very much."

Tracy & The Gang:  "While visiting your Anthony LaPaglia page, I noticed that you had a mention of his CBS pilot and I would like to direct you to our page concerning that pilot.  We are BIG fans of his and have numerous pictures of him from his days on Murder One in our vast array of disks!  And we were thrilled to watch him on the Tony's."

June Newsletter:  "ANTHONY  WINS  THE TONY!  IT'S TRUE!  ANTHONY LAPAGLIA WINS THE BEST ACTOR  TONY AWARD FOR  A View From The Bridge.  Well, the awards are over, but the thrill will last!"

Denine:  "I have enjoyed your web site.  Having been at school and teacher's college with Tony and spent allot of time with him socially in his younger days before fame,  I find this very interesting."

Kat:  "Weren't the Drama Desk Awards a good sign?  I hope that means the Tony will follow!"

Foxfire:  "After the first night of  Murder One the second season,  I was a big  fan!   Anthony played  Jimmy  Wyler kind of like a 90's Perry Mason.  I was a big Mason fan and was still  happy to trust this good looking, arrogant, cocky, sexy and self assured, new defense attorney.  So if you were in trouble, wouldn't you call  Wyler & Associates?  Because Anthony was so convincing, I believed it all."

Csparl:  "I am an actor/writer interested in getting in touch with Anthony LaPaglia to read a script I am working on.  If you happen to know which agency he is with and /or his mailing address or where he can be reached, can you please forward it to me?"

Celeste:  "I was surprised and delighted to stumble across your page on the superb actor Anthony LaPaglia.  Your page is great and interesting.  I hope to learn more from it."

Timd:  "I checked out Anthony LaPaglia.  His face looks kind of familiar.  The only movie on the list of his films that I've seen is So I Married An Ax Murderer."

Jmiller:  "Took a look at your picture of you and Anthony LaPaglia.  Pretty cool!"

Sjellsih: "Just saw your web page and it looks good.  You 'really' met Anthony?  Jeez!  I wish I could meet one of my faves."

Mrodby:  "I saw the picture of you and Anthony LaPaglia.  He's pretty cute.  I haven't heard of any of these movies except Betsy's Wedding."

Geneviev: " I just checked out the pic and boy you look happy.  And for good reason, he looked great and I am sure the play was amazing!"

A.C.:  "The Anthony LaPaglia site looks good.  My girlfriend finds him attractive too!"
