This page was set up to honor the amazing talent of Scottish actor Gerard Butler.  It will not be the ultimate source of information as that can be found on other sites.  There are lots a positive and negative comments found on the net but my purpose is to only deal in the positives.  As a fan, I think that is the only appropriate reason for comment.  I have collected a few nice pictures and hope to enjoy Gerard's performances in many films in the future.

Gerard is so cute in this movie.  I had seen him in 300 and did not recognize him and then purchased Beowulf and thought it okay, I had already seen the mega special effects version and liked that.  When I saw this film, I thought wow!!  I need to see more of his work.  I had not really noticed him in Tomb Raider or Reign of Fire.  This really shows his skills playing a regular guy!!  So cute!!!!

Who could believe that the fellow shouting 'this is Sparta' is the same guy who played the sensitive stranger in Dear Frankie or the charming Phantom or the enigmatic Dracula.  I have watched 300 Spartans and enjoyed the story, but Gerard playing Leonidas is just so powerful there is no comparison to any other film on the subject.

There could be no other Phantom but Gerard.  I was blown away by his charisma and fabulous singing.  He has an obvious hypnotic effect on Christine and she could so easily have succumbed to his charms.  I have heard some of the songs performed by Michael Crawford and much prefer the rock quality of Gerard's voice.  One of my favorite musicals!!!

I love this movie!  The story is so poignant and Gerard plays 'the stranger' as very sensitive and sweet.  Wow!  What woman wouldn't want a guy like his character.   And, a couple of twists at the end just make it so much better.  One to watch many times.

A remarkable leader of men whose one flaw is that he too easily trusts women which brings about his ultimate downfall.  Gerard makes a very convincing Attila.

Gerard gives a very haunting performance as the vampire whose story has been told over and over.  This one has a new twist.

If you blink and are not listening for the Scottish brogue, you will miss Gerard entirely.  I had to carefully go through in slow-mo to find him.
