The Tru Texan peg & slate turkey call is hand made. The sound chamber is milled from a solid piece of aromatic red cedar, topped with a 1/8" black slate. The call measures 3" long 2-1/2" wide & 3/4" thick. Every sound in a turkey's vocabulary except a gobble can be expertly reproduced on this slate. The striker is dual purpose with a short peg and a long peg.
