Start place address: Rust House, Guadalupe River SP, Spring Branch, TX

Start Times: 8:00 am - 12:30 pm, finish by 3:30 pm

Event Description: Both routes will be over caliche, loose gravel dirt, some rugged terrain and are NOT suitable for strollers, wagons, or wheel chairs. We encourage walkers to use their walking sticks. There will be a trail of lesser distance and difficulty available.

Water and restrooms are availabe at the start/finish and at one checkpoint along the trail.

Award and Fees: IVV credit only $3.00, B-Award + credit is $4.00. If no award or credit is desired the event is free. However, donations are always gratefully accepted.

Pets: Pets are not allowed on the Honey Creek Trail. Leashed pets are allowed in Guadalupe SP.

Directions: From Austin: Take I-35 South to Hwy 46. Turn West and follow 46 to Park Road 31. Turn Right and travel 4.3 miles to Start.

From San Antonio - Take Hwy 281 Norht to Hwy 46. Turn Left (west). Go to Park Road 31 and turn right. Travel 4.3 miles to start.

Comments: There is an $4.00 per person per day charge to enter Guadalupe State Park. Texas State Passes will be honored. Children under 12 are free. Significant railfall could cause this event to be cancelled by the Park Ranger. On the day of the event you may call Gaulalupe SP at 830-438-2656 for information regarding this event. The Texas Wanderers are collecting non-parishable food item for the local food pantry at this event. Your voluntary donations will be gratefully accepted.
