Event description: The trail goes through Amarillo Parks, past old homes with trees and for 1.5 miles along the historic Route 66. The Route 66 part passes many antique shops and restaurants. Strollers ok. Wheelchairs may have difficulty with curbs. Pets are allowed.

Directions: From I-40 east or west, exit 67, Western Avenue. Follow Western north 1.7 miles to start.
