1. If you do not have a kit with glazed mask mold and treated paper and metallic streamer you must do the following:
a. Get an unwigged doll head
b. Prepare 2 ply Bristol Board or 110 lb. Card stock by lightly spraying one side with clear Decoupage spray and allowing it to dry
c. Metallic streamer- take 10 to 12 pieces of metallic thread and glue the top of thread pieces together. Wrap these around a 1/8" diameter piece of wire and clamp. Wet the thread and allow to dry. Unwrap.
2. Cut our the mask pattern . Cut inside the black lines for the mask, and outside the black lines for the eye holes.
3. Trace the pattern on to the untreated side of the Bristol Board and cut out.
4. Dampen the Bristol Board and place it on the face mold (doll head) treated side up, pressing it into the surface to form the molded nose. Allow to dry.
5. Glue the gold bead to the wire.
6. Apply glue to the wire and bead except to the top 1/8" of the wire. Coat the wire with glitter and allow to dry.
7. Glue the tab from the mask to the wire.
8. Spread glue lightly on the mask and cover with glitter
9. Glue your streamer to the front of the tab.
10. Curl 3 or 4 pieces of feather and glue to the front of the tab. (Curl feathers like you curl paper ribbon)
11. Cover raw ends of streamer and feathers with a sequin or decorative piece of glitter.
