ENDTIME BIBLE PROPHECY King James Bible Version

The return of the Jews to Israel is the key to bible prophecy. Most other endtime prophecies depend on the Jewish people living in Israel and not scattered amongst the Gentiles. Israel has not existed as a nation since hundreds of years before the birth of Christ. Israel was established on May 15, 1948.

Deuteronomy 4:27-28,30-31 ²⁷And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you. ²⁸And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell. ³⁰ When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, [even] in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; ³¹(For the LORD thy God [is] a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.

• Moses predicted that the Jews would be scattered throughout the world and persecuted as has occurred for the last three thousand years and that one day the Jews would return to God and to the land of Israel which he promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Isaiah 11:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

Jeremiah 30:3 For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.

Joel 3:1-2 For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, ²I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and [for] my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

Amos 9:11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:

• Foresaw the restoration of Israel in one day (May 15, 1948).

Ezekiel 36:24,33-35 ²⁴For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. ³³"Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded. ³⁴And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by. ³⁵And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.

• Israel is restored in one day and becomes a land of milk and honey in this current time.

Hosea 9:10 I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time: but they went to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto that shame; and their abominations were according as they loved.

Jeremiah 24:2-5 ²One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad. ³Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil. ⁴Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, ⁵Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.

• The fig tree is used by Hosea and Jeremiah to refer to Jewish people.

Matthew 24:32-33 ³²Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: ³³So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

• Israel the fig tree has put forth its leaves and been reborn as a nation therefore the the coming of Christ draws near.

Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

• This passage was fulfilled in 1967 after Israel took over all of Jerusalem in the six-day war.
• The times of the Gentiles began with the Apostle Paul's missionary work in the first century. Prior to this time God's ministry was preached mainly to the Jewish people.

We are the last generation of this earth.

Luke 21:32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

• This reading from Luke occurs after the signs and warnings Jesus gave of the end of the age and the prophecy of Jerusalem's return to Jewish control. Therefore the generation that will not pass away would seem to refer to the generation in place in 1967.
• How long is a generation? Based on other bible passages it could be:

40 years - Numbers 32:13 And the LORD'S anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the LORD, was consumed.

70 years - Psalm 90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

120 years - Genesis 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

• This would put the end of this generation in the year 2007, 2037, or 2087.
• Some biblical scholars feel that the generation that Jesus referred to was present when Israel became a nation. Therefore the end of this generation in this viewpoint could be 1988, 2018, or 2068. 

• Matthew 24:36-37 ³⁶But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. ³⁷But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Remember know one except our father in heaven knows the exact date or hour of the rapture or tribulation. However, he allows us to see the signs and indications that his return is near. We must always be ready.

SIX SIGNS GIVEN BY JESUS TO INDICATE THE END OF THE AGE

• Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
• Jesus told his apostles to look for the following signs prior to his second coming and the end of the age. 

1) FALSE PROPHETS AND CHRISTS

Matthew 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

• In the last several years many people have claimed to be the Messiah like Jim Jones, David Koresh and countless others who are not as newsworthy. These false prophets are a prelude to the ultimate false Christ, the Antichrist.

2) WARS

Matthew 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

• Rumors of wars now occur frequently thanks to instant coverage by the television news media.

Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

• More people been killed in warfare in the this century than at any other time in history.
• Devastating weapons of mass destruction (nuclear, chemical, and biological) are now available. For the first time in human history we now have the capacity to destroy ourselves.

3) FAMINES

Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

• Famine is a constant finding in Africa, especially in Ethiopia and Sudan. A large portion of the world's 5 billion people are undernourished.

4) EARTHQUAKES

Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

• The number and intensity of earthquakes this century are at a level higher than any other time in history.

• Current Seismic Events
• By contrast in the years 1890-1900 there was only one major earthquake in the world.

5) TRIBULATIONS

Matthew 24:8-9 ⁸All these are the beginning of sorrows. ⁹Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

• At this time the Church is under attack throughout the world (China, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Korea, Sudan). During the Tribulation the persecution of Christians will intensify even to the point of martyrdom.

Matthew 24:8 ⁸All these are the beginning of sorrows.

• Unfortunately, these 5 signs will increase in intensity and severity as the tribulation approaches as the birthpangs or contractions of a pregnant woman worsen as the delivery time approaches.

6) GOSPEL PREACHED THROUGHOUT THE WORLD:

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

• This has been accomplished by TV, radio, missionaries, and bible offerings and translations in most languages of the world.

TWO CHARACTERISTICS OF THE END OF THE AGE BY THE APOSTLE PAUL

1) GODLESSNESS IN THE LAST DAYS

• 2 Timothy 3:1-5,7 ¹This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. ²For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, ³Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, ⁴Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; ⁵Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. ⁷Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
• Moral decay is rapidly spreading around the Western world and the United States. The degree of profanity and sexuality on television is unbelievable. Even 10 years ago this was unheard of. We are as in the days of Jeroboam II, King of Israel. At that time Israel was undergoing a period of period of economic growth, prosperity and national expansion. However, moral corruption, idolatry, and adultery were rampant throughout the land. The decay permeated all of Israel from the highest places, the King of Israel and the priests, and throughout the people. Despite many chances given by God and numerous prophets sent to Israel, the people were stubborn and refused to return to the Lord. Twenty-seven years later after six more wicked kings, Israel was judged by God who caused Assyria to end the kingdom of Israel and carry away the people back to Assyria.
• I believe that we are going through a similar period of moral decay in the United States. Sin, corruption, adultery, pleasure seeking, profanity, sexuality, and the idolatry of money and new age ideals are at a all time high. The signs point to a coming judgment upon the wicked of the land. The sense of economic and national security which is felt by most Americans masks the underlying decay in values and morality, and the Loss of God. Divine judgment on our nation will occur just as on Sodom, Gomorra, and Israel.
• Hosea 4:1-3 ¹Hear the word of the Lord, You children of Israel, For the Lord brings a charge against the inhabitants of the land: "There is no truth or mercy Or knowledge of God in the land. ²By swearing and lying, Killing and stealing and committing adultery, They break all restraint, With bloodshed upon bloodshed. ³Therefore the land will mourn; And everyone who dwells there will waste away With the beasts of the field And the birds of the air; Even the fish of the sea will be taken away.

2) APOSTASY (FALLING AWAY FROM THE FAITH)

1 Timothy 4:1-3 ¹Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; ²Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; ³Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

• The rising popularity of the new age movement, eastern religions, meditation, and belief in past lives and reincarnation.
• Christian denominations departing from the original teachings of the Bible.

11 REQUIREMENTS OF BIBLE PROPHECY FOR THE END OF THE AGE

1) EXISTENCE OF A 200,000,000 MAN ARMY IN THE EAST:

• Revelation 9:16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
• At no time in history had such a large army existed until the Chinese army reached that figure in the 1960's.

2) REDEVELOPMENT OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE (EUROPEAN COMMUNITY):

• Daniel 2:32-33,40-43 ³²This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, ³³His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. ⁴⁰And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. 41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. ⁴²And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. ⁴³And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
• The fourth kingdom of iron is the Roman empire according to Daniel's interpretation of King Nebuchadnezzar's dream. The two legs are the division of the Roman empire into an eastern portion called the Byzantine empire which ended in the 1400's and a western portion based in Rome which ended in the 400's. The toes of iron may be the 10 member nations of the European Economic Community formed in the 1970's while the clay is the second tier of member nations. The nations of Europe since the Roman empire dissolved have never adhered or formed one empire but continue as separate nations.

3) RETURN OF THE ONE PURE LANGUAGE, HEBREW, TO ISRAEL:

• Zephaniah 3:9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.
• Prior to restoration of Israel in 1948, Hebrew was a dead language. Now Hebrew is spoken throughout Israel.

4) REBUILDING OF THE TEMPLE/RESTORATION OF TEMPLE WORSHIP AND ANIMAL SACRIFICES IN JERUSALEM:

• The temple and restarting the animal sacrifices are required for several of the endtime prophecies to be fulfilled:
• Revelation 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
• Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
• Daniel 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
• Building blueprints for the temple are ready. All that is delaying building now is the presence of the 3rd holiest site in Islam, the Dome of the Rock which lies over the old temple site.
• The rebuilding of the temple is therefore unlikely at the present time.

Four possible scenarios for the rebuilding of the temple:

• 1) The persuasion and performing of miracles by the Antichrist and False Prophet convinces the Islamic world to approve the rebuilding
• 2) Approval is given during the confusion and bewilderment of the Rapture
• 3) Some archeologists believe that the temple mount is actually 340 feet south of the Dome of the Rock site. If this proven true the building will begin. The court that is left out may refer to the building of the temple around the Dome of the Rock. Click for more information here.
  • Revelation 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
• 4) After God's supernatural destruction of the Russian army. This scenario assumes that this Russian attack on Israel is not the battle of Armageddon as some biblical students feel and that this attack occurs before the rapture or tribulation period begins. This destruction of the Russian and Islamic armed forces by God, will cause a outpouring of Christian worship and zeal amongst the Jewish people who will reconstruct the temple.
• A group in Israel called the Temple Mount Faithful have obtained most of the clothing, instruments and other equipment required for temple worship. Click here for more information on their current attempts to lay the cornerstone of the Temple in Jerusalem.

5) APPEARANCE OF THE RED HEIFER AFTER 2000 YEARS:

• Numbers 19:2-7 ²This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke: ³And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face: ⁴And Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood directly before the tabernacle of the congregation seven times: ⁵And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn: ⁶And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer. ⁷Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even.
• A Red Hiefer is required for the waters of purification. In May 1997 the first Red Heifer was born in 2000 years.
• Ezekiel 36:24-25 ²⁴For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. ²⁵Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

6) INCREASE IN KNOWLEDGE AND TRAVEL:

• Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
• More knowledge has been discovered in the last century than in all of history combined. 90% of all the engineers or scientists who have ever lived are alive today (quoted from Billy Graham).

7) RETURN OF THE ETHIOPIAN JEWS TO ISRAEL:

• Zephaniah 3:10-11 ¹⁰From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering. ¹¹In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain.
• 1984 and 1991 U.S. airlifts of Ethiopian Jews to Israel.

8) RISE OF RUSSIA:

• Ezekiel 38:2,4,8 ²Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, ⁴And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: ⁸After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.
• Prior to the 20th century Magog or Russia was not a economic or military world power. In order for some end time events to occur Russia has to be a strong nation.

9) RETURN OF THE RUSSIAN JEWS TO ISRAEL:

• Jeremiah 23:7-8 ⁷Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; ⁸But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.
• 1970's and 80's exodus of Russian Jews out of Communist Russia.

10) TECHNOLOGY FOR THE MARK OF THE BEAST:

• Revelation 13:16-17 ¹⁶And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: ¹⁷And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

11) PLANS FOR THE ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT:

• The United Nations, World Trade Organization, Peacekeeping actions and other agencies are preliminary steps to the formation of a one world government.
• This generation is the first in history that has the communications and transportation needed to form a one world government which the Antichrist will establish.

12) INSTANT COMMUNICATION AROUND THE WORLD:

• Revelation 11:3,7-10 ³And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. ⁷And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. ⁸And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. ⁹And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. ¹⁰And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
• Television must be present for the world to see the dead prophets and rejoice at their deaths.

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

The phrase rapture (Greek-harpazo, in Latin-rapere) means to be caught up or taken away suddenly. The rapture refers to the sudden removal of God's people on the earth. In the twinkling of a eye born again Christians will suddenly be transformed out of our human bodies and will rise up into the air to join Jesus Christ. In the bible others have been taken away from the Earth like Enoch, Elijah, and Jesus when he left the Earth after his first coming.

Many biblical scholars feel that the rapture will occur prior to the Tribulation Period or Pre-Tribulation. Thus God will spare his Church from the persecutions of the Antichrist and the wrath of God which follows upon the wicked people of the earth. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17¹³But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. ¹⁴For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. ¹⁵For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. ¹⁶For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: ¹⁷Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:50-53 ⁵⁰Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. ⁵¹Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, ⁵²In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. ⁵³For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality.

Matthew 24:40-41 ⁴⁰Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. ⁴¹Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

• Billions of people will be left behind on this earth full of surprise and terror at the disappearances of their loved ones and friends. Who knows what kind of explanations the Antichrist will invent to explain the vanishings.

John 14:1-3 ¹Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. ²In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. ³And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

2 Thessalonians 2:3,6-7 ³Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; ⁶And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. ⁷For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

• The words falling away may have 2 different meanings.
• The first is to fall away from the faith. During our present time many Christian values and commandments are virtually ignored. Many have fallen away from Christ.
• The second meaning is to fall away from or depart. This may be a reference to the rapture. The Antichrist is restrained on Earth until the Holy Spirit (he) which dwells within God's church and people is removed by the rapture.
• After the rapture the Antichrist is revealed. The Antichrist is probably on the world scene now.

Acts 1:9-11 ⁹And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. ¹⁰And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; ¹¹Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

• Jesus will return to the Earth the same way he left; from the clouds

1 Thessalonians 5:4,9-10 ⁴But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. ⁹For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, ¹⁰Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Colossians 3:6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

1 Thessalonians 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

Luke 21:34-36 ³⁴And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. ³⁵For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. ³⁶ Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

• Be ready for the rapture. Escape the wrath!

Isaiah 26:19-21 ¹⁹Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. ²⁰Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. ²¹For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

• The rapture of the dead followed by his people. After the rapture the indignation or tribulation will fall upon the Earth.

Revelation 3:10-11 ¹⁰Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. ¹¹Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

• The Lord will keep his people and church out of the Tribulation.

Zephaniah 2:2-3 ²Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you. ³Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.

Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Matthew 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

• The belief in a imminent or at any time rapture has two beneficial effects on the church

1. It encourages us to live righteously as Christ may return at any time

2. It encourages soul winning believers and missionaries to win over friends, family and the lost of the world before he returns

The seven-year period of Daniel which is Daniel's 70^th week is also known as the tribulation period or the time of Jacob's trouble. This period begins after the Antichrist signs a peace treaty or covenant with Israel guaranteeing its security. As we read the daily news Israel is getting closer and closer to signing a final peace treaty that may begin the tribulation period and bring the Antichrist onto the world stage.

The seven-year period will begin as soon as the Antichrist is revealed after signing the peace agreement with Israel. During these seven years many multitudes of people will find Christ. Unfortunately most of these new Christians will be persecuted, imprisoned, and tortured by the Antichrist and his new world government in a time known as the Great Tribulation. In addition, those that escape this persecution may perish during God's wrath which is unleashed during the second 3 and 1/2 years of this period during the Day of the Lord.

Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

• One week equals seven years in bible prophecy.
• Genesis 29:27-28 ²⁷Fulfil her week, and we will give thee this also for the service which thou shalt serve with me yet seven other years. ²⁸And Jacob did so, and fulfilled her week: and he gave him Rachel his daughter to wife also.

SEVEN SEALS

• These are the fulfillment of the signs of the end times given by Jesus.

First Seal - White Horseman of the Antichrist

• Other names in the Bible for the Antichrist: Beast, Little horn, Man of Sin, Prince who is to come, Wicked

Revelation 6:1-2 ¹And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. ²And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

• This is the Antichrist who impersonates Christ by riding a white horse as Jesus does at the second coming.

2 Thessalonians 2:3,6-8 ³Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; ⁶And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. ⁷For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. ⁸And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

• The Antichrist is revealed after the church, in which dwells the Holy Spirit, has been removed by the rapture.

Daniel 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

• The people of the Roman empire under general Titus destroyed Jerusalem and the temple in AD 70. Therefore, the Antichrist will come from the reborn Roman empire (probably the European Community or some other nation that was part of the Roman empire).

Daniel 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

• The Antichrist claims he is God/Messiah and will persecute Christians until the Day of the Lord

How does the Antichrist Rise to Power

Daniel 7:7-8, 23-24 ⁷After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. ⁸I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things. ²³Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. ²⁴And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

• The fourth beast is the confederacy of former Roman empire countries. It consists of 10 nations led by kings or horns. After the 10 kings are in place the Antichrist or little horn takes over 3 of those nations and will lead the new Roman empire or fourth beast.
• The initial European Economic Community consisted of 10 nations.

False Prophet is Revealed

Revelation 13:11-15 ¹¹And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. ¹²And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. ¹³And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, ¹⁴And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. ¹⁵And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

• The false prophet performs great signs and miracles in the presence of the Antichrist causing the unbelieving people to further worship the beast and his idol. The false prophet also has great economic power and establishes the mark of the beast.

Second Seal - Red Horseman of War

• Revelation 6:3-4 ³And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. ⁴And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
• Peace is removed from the earth.

MARK OF THE BEAST (666)

Revelation 11:16-18 ¹⁶And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: ¹⁷And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. ¹⁸Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

• To buy or sell (food, housing, car, job) the False Prophect will require each person to receive a mark on his forehead or right hand. No one knows what this mark may be. It is speculated that this could be a computer chip embedded under the skin that would contain a person's financial and personal records.

Third Seal - Black Horseman of Famine

• Revelation 6:5-6 ⁵And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. ⁶And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
• Food represented by wheat and barley cost more than a day's wages. While luxury goods such as oil and wine are still available to the rich.

Two Witnesses of God

Revelation 11:3-6 ³And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. ⁴These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. ⁵And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. ⁶These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

• God's prophets speak against the wicked people of the earth and the Antichrist.
• The ministries of the two witnesses must begin in the first 3 and 1/2 years because they are killed 1260 days later during the second 3 and 1/2 years by the Antichrist.
• Most bible scholars feel that the two witnesses are Moses and Elijah as Moses also smited the Earth with plagues and Elijah had the power to shut heaven or cause a drought. Elijah was also predicted by Malachi before the Day of the Lord. Malachi 4:5-6 ⁵Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: ⁶And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Abomination of Desolation

Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

• 3 and 1/2 years after the peace covenant with Israel the persecutions of the Antichrist begin.
• At the midpoint of the seven-year period the Antichrist will cause the temple sacrifices to stop implying that temple was rebuilt and that sacrifices are occurring at the temple in Jerusalem.

Matthew 24:15-18 ¹⁵When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) ¹⁶Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: ¹⁷Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: ¹⁸Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

• The abomination of desolation in the temple is the living image of the beast. It is also a sign for the Jews to flee into the mountains before the great tribulation begins.

Daniel 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

2 Thessalonians 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Persecution of Christians Begins

Fourth Seal - Pale Horseman of Death

Revelation 6:7-8 ⁷And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. ⁸And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

• Death from starvation, disease, and and the forces of the Antichrist. The wild beast of the earth is the Antichrist and his minions. Starvation and disease result from the many new Christians unable to purchase food and work because they do not take the mark of the beast.

Matthew 24:19-22 ¹⁹And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! ²⁰But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: ²¹For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. ²²And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

• Jerusalem and Israel will become desolate as the Antichrist begins his reign of terror.

Zechariah 13:8-9 ⁸And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. ⁹And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

• Two-thirds of the Jewish people will perish in the tribulation.

Matthew 24:23-26 ²³Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. ²⁴For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. ²⁵Behold, I have told you before. ²⁶Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

• The Antichrist and False Prophet will deceive many Christians into believing he is the Messiah. Others will be tricked into coming out of hiding because they think Christ is here and then captured and persecuted by the one world government of the Beast.

Fifth Seal - Martyrs of the Tribulation period

Revelation 6:9-11 ⁹And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: ¹⁰And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? ¹¹And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Jeremiah 30:5-7 ⁵For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. ⁶Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? ⁷Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

Joel 2:11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

Zephaniah 1:15-18 ¹⁵That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, ¹⁶A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers. ¹⁷And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. ¹⁸Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

Isaiah 2:19 And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

Sixth Seal - Cosmic Terrors (Great Earthquake, Bloody Moon, Darkened Sun, Meteors falling, Mountains and Islands moving, Sky splits apart)

• The signs in the earth and heavens signal the beginning of the Day of the Lord.

Revelation 6:12-14 ¹²And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; ¹³And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. ¹⁴And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Joel 2:10, 30-31 ¹⁰The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: ³⁰And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. ³¹The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

Joel 3:14-15 ¹⁴Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. ¹⁵The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.

Revelation 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Isaiah 13:9-10,13 ⁹Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. ¹⁰For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. ¹³Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

Sealing (Ownership) of the 144,000 of Israel

Revelation 7:2-4 ²And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, ³Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. ⁴And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

Martyrs of the Great Tribulation Stand Before God

Revelation 7:14-15 ¹⁴And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. ¹⁵Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

Day of the Lord Begins

Seventh Seal - Consists of Seven trumpet judgments on mankind

• The seventh seal begins the Day of the Lord.

Revelation 8: 1,6 ¹And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. ⁶And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

First Trumpet - Hail and Fire Destruction of all the grass and 1/3 of trees

Revelation 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

• May represent an after effect of nuclear weapons as fire and hail occur in atmosphere following an atomic explosion as in Japan at the end of World War II.

Second Trumpet - Meteor falls into the Ocean destroying 1/3 of ships and sea life

Revelation 8:8-9 ⁸And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; ⁹And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

Third Trumpet - Wormwood falls from the Heavens causing fresh water to become bitter

Revelation 8:10-11 ¹⁰And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; ¹¹And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

• Wormwood is a bitter plant that can paralyze or kill.

Fourth Trumpet - Darkening of a third of the sun, moon, and stars

Revelation 8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

• After many nuclear explosions the atmosphere fills with dust and debris blocking the light from filtering through. (Nuclear winter hypothesis)

Fifth Trumpet - (Woe #1) Locusts from the Bottomless Pit

Revelation 9:1-10 ¹And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. ²And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. ³And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. ⁴And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. ⁵And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. ⁶And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. ⁷And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. ⁸And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. ⁹And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. ¹⁰And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.

• Theory #1- This may be an actual plague of tormenting locusts.
• Theory #2- The locusts may be a first century description of helicopters. The wings sounding like chariots could be the sound of helicopter blades spinning.

Sixth Trumpet - (Woe #2) Eastern army of 200,000,000 men kill 1/3 of mankind

Revelation 9:13-19 ¹³And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, ¹⁴Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. ¹⁵And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. ¹⁶And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. ¹⁷And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. ¹⁸By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. ¹⁹For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

• Reported number of men in the Chinese armed forces and militia in 1964 was 200 million. The population of China has increased significantly since then.

Death of the Two Witnesses

Revelation 11:7-12 ⁷And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. ⁸And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. ⁹And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. ¹⁰And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. ¹¹And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. ¹²And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

• God's 2 witnesses are killed, resurrected from the dead, and then taken up to heaven in front of the eyes of the whole world (Television).

Seventh Trumpet - Consist of seven bowls of the Final Judgment of God

First Bowl of the Wrath of God - Sores on men with the Mark of the Beast

Revelation 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

Second Bowl of the Wrath of God - All creatures in the sea die

Revelation 16:3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

Third Bowl of the Wrath of God - Rivers and Springs become blood

Revelation 16:4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

• The wicked must drink the blood of the martyrs.

Fourth Bowl of the Wrath of God - Sun scorches the earth

Revelation 16:8-9 ⁸And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. ⁹And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

Fifth Bowl of the Wrath of God - Kingdom of the Antichrist/Beast becomes darkened

Sixth Bowl of the Wrath of God - Euphrates river dries up allowing the Chinese army to move to Armageddon

Revelation 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

Seventh Bowl of the Wrath of God - Greatest earthquake ever, Babylon/Rome is destroyed

Revelation 16:17-19 ¹⁷And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. ¹⁸And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. ¹⁹And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

• Babylon can refer to:
• 1)The actual city of Babylon which is being restored in Iraq 50 miles south of Bagdad
• 2)The false worldwide religion of the antichrist which began with the mystery religions of Babylon thousands of years ago
• 3) or Rome, city of seven hills, which may be the headquarters of the false worldwide religion. Revelation 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
• 4) Some Christians feel that Babylon is America -See Link America the Babylon

Isaiah 13:1,4,6 ¹The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see. ⁴The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle. ⁶Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

Jeremiah 51:24,26 ²⁴And I will render unto Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight, saith the LORD. ²⁶And they shall not take of thee a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but thou shalt be desolate for ever, saith the LORD.

Babylon will be destroyed forever.

Zechariah 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Zechariah 14:5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

• The holy ones are the raptured saints.

Revelation 16:13-14,16 ¹³And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. ¹⁴For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. ¹⁶And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Revelation 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

• The beast leading the revived Roman empire plus the armies of the king of the east are gathered into the valley of Meggido in Israel for the last battle.

Daniel 11:40-45 ⁴⁰And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. ⁴¹He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. ⁴²He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. ⁴³But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. ⁴⁴But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. ⁴⁵And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

• The king of the north is the Antichrist or Beast.

Joel 3:1-2 ¹For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, ²I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

• The real Christ returns on his white horse.

Revelation 19:20-21 ²⁰And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. ²¹And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

• The sword which comes from Christ's mouth is the word of God.

Judgment Of Nations

Matthew 26:31-34, 41 ³¹When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: ³²And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: ³³And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. ³⁴Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: ⁴¹Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Joel 3:12-13 ¹²Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about. ¹³Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.

Millennial Kingdom of Christ

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

• One thousand year period of peace led by Jesus Christ. The raptured saints will be the priests of God.

Isaiah 11:6-9 ⁶The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. ⁷And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. ⁸And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. ⁹They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

• Peace shall cover the earth as the earth will be full of the knowledge of God. Even the animals will live in peace.

Isaiah 11:11-12 ¹¹And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. ¹²And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

• The Jewish people shall be gathered from across the earth back into the promised land.

Satan Bound For One Thousand Years

Revelation 20:2-3 ²And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, ³And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Satan Released

Revelation 20:7-9 ⁷And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, ⁸And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. ⁹And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

Satan Cast Into The Lake Of Fire Forever

Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Revelation 20:11-15 ¹¹And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. ¹²And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. ¹³And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. ¹⁴And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. ¹⁵And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

• Resurrection of the wicked and unjust.

Revelation 21:1-2,12-14 ¹And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. ²And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. ¹²And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: ¹³On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. ¹⁴And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

Isaiah 35:1-2 ¹The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. ²It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.

DO YOU WANT TO BE LEFT BEHIND AFTER THE RAPTURE?

1) MANY WILL BE FOOLED BY THE MIRACLES OF THE ANTICHRIST AND FALSE PROPHET

• Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
• After the Rapture many people, including Christians, will be deceived by the miracles and wonders that the Antichrist performs. Many may will actually believe he is the Messiah.

2) MANY WILL BE DECEIVED BY GOD'S INFLUENCE INTO BELIEVING THE ANTICHRIST

• 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 ⁹Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders. ¹⁰And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. ¹¹And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
• If you miss Christ before the rapture you are taking a big chance. God has foretold of a deception that he will place upon the people of the earth to not believe the truth. You will suffer the wrath of God here on earth and then have to endure the LAKE OF FIRE for eternity.
• Even if you are lucky and find Jesus after the Tribulation you will have to endure the horrors of the Tribulation. Why risk it?
