Just A Little About Myself
First licensed in 1958 as KN0SKI, novice. Continuous member of ARRL since Feb. 1959. Life member ARRL since May 1975.
Moved to Clearwater Fla. in 1958 and was issued WA4NUR. Upgraded to advanced and received call sign W4CNA. Moved to Little Rock in 1968 and was issued call sign W5RXU.
ARRL Assistant Director, ARRL Arkansas Section Manager, ARRL Section Emergency Coordinator, ARRL Little Rock Emergency Coordinator and Little Rock Radio Officer RACES, offices held.
Founded the Arkansas Weather Net in 1972 which became Arkansas Skywarn, when Skywarn was formed nationally.
Presently President of Arkansas Voluntary Organizations Active in Diasters VOAD.
Presently Radio Officer for National Disaster Medical System NDMS. Net Control, Saturday evenings for the Arkansas Razorback Net.
Training Officer Arkansas ARES/RACES training nets. CAREN training net officer.
Past member Florida Sidebanders Association and the Gulf Coast Hurricane Net.
Wife Betty holds a general class license with the call sign . WB8TLA
