ASH CASTLES ON THE GHOST COAST

CHARALAMBIDES

07.12.02 Kranky will be releasing the next two full length Charalambides albums.
05.15.02 The Being As Is CD-R on Crucial Blast is now available.
05.01.02 Historic 6th Ward double LP is now available.
08.26.01 Charalambides is currently preparing a double LP for release on Eclipse Records, and has a track on a forthcoming tribute compilation to the film Two Lane Blacktop on Plain Recordings. Also forthcoming is a double LP reissue on Time-Lag of Historic 6th Ward including most of the tracks on the original cassette that were omitted from the Wholly Other CD release.
05.01.01 Charalambides will be releasing a 10 inch EP called Ana/Kata as part of Beta Lactam Ring's forthcoming Lactamase 10 inch series.

CHRISTINA CARTER

07.12.02 Rob Vaughn has been working on cleaning up the Bastard Wing master tapes and preparing final mixes for the album to be given to Eclipse Records. Rob was the man behind Pelt's Rob's Choice CD and has started his own post-production enterprise called Sound-O-Mat.
12.24.01 Ecstatic Yod will release an LP of guitar/piano recordings by Loren Mazzacane Connors and Christina Carter.

05.01.02 Surrounded By Sun is now available.
02.08.02 Fleece will issue a split LP of Migrantes and Scorces in late 2002. 05.27.01 Scorces recently recorded some pieces for upcoming compilations on freedom from (an all acoustic comp) and Fonal (Surrounded by Sun, due in 2.2002).

03.01.02 Wholly Other has a few copies of Shawn's magazine project Sidewalk Strobelight available for sale in our catalog.
06.20.01 Shawn's first post Ash Castles album, Catfish, has just been mastered. It will be the next Wholly Other CD release, slated for late 2002.

TOM CARTER

07.12.02 The collaboration CD on Emperor Jones is scheduled to be released in November 2002.
07.15.01 Tom and Pip Proud are also currently recording a collaborative CD for Emperor Jones.

VIA CREATIVA

8.26.01 Christina is starting Via Creativa, a new label to release LPs by solo women artists. Confirmed so far for the label are Marcia Bassett(Double Leopards), Heather(Ash Castles), Anne Heller(Aurora Plastics Company), Carol Kelly(Rotten Piece + Ouroboros), Caroline Vickers(Migrantes), and Susie Wasserstrom(Dove/Wasserstrom duo). The first release is projected for late 2002.
