Patriot Guard Riders
The Patriot Guard Riders is a diverse amalgamation of riders from across the nation. We have one thing in common besides motorcycles. We have an unwavering respect for those who risk their very lives for America’s freedom and security. If you share this respect, please join us.
We don’t care what you ride, what your political views are, or whether you’re a "hawk" or a "dove". It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn't matter where you’re from or what your income is. You don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect.
Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives.
1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.
2. Shield the mourning family and friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors.
We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.
Texas Patriots
The Texas Patriots is a patriotic group of concerned citizens that have joined together to promote patriotism and show support to the armed forces.
Following in the footsteps of the Kansas American Legion Riders, who formed the original Kansas Patriot Guard in 2005, we applaud and support their Mission of Honoring the Fallen Heroes here in Texas and, by peaceful means, shield the grieving family from uninvited guests.
We recognize it is equally important to find ways to show our support and appreciation to all who are serving presently, served in the past, and their families. Our Missions include standing tall and silent at funerals of all veterans, supporting POW/MIA issues, escorting homecomings and departures, "support the troops" rallies, Toys for Tots, visits to the wounded, as well as providing, phone cards, and items for the wounded.
We join in support of many groups including the Rolling Thunder, Blue Knights, Wounded Warriors, Patriot Guard Riders, VFW, and etc. In general, we respond in any way that we can to "Let Them Know We Care".
Regardless of your feelings on the war, we invite everyone that believes our troops deserve unconditional support to join us.
