ZEI, as an agent for the client, provides
complete purchasing services or serves as an extension of the client's purchasing

Inspection and Expediting
ZEI provides the following inspection and
expediting services:

Coordinating
vendors' production schedules with client's procurement and construction schedules. |

Visiting
vendors' manufacturing plants to check progress, inspect workmanship, evaluate performance
and report status. |

Witnessing and
obtaining reports of manufacturers' tests. |
|
|
Maintaining
liaison with construction site personnel and keeping them appraised of schedules and
pertinent data. |

|
Coordinating
replacement or repair of items received damaged, or not, as specified. |
|
ZEI prepares written reports of all
expediting and inspection activities, and sends copies to the appropriate personnel.
Inspection activities are part of ZEI's
overall quality assurance program.
Cost
Estimating
ZEI combines accurate estimating with
cost control procedures and monitoring cost trends, including scope changes, to provide
the client with timely information for determining the project's financial status and
exercising strict financial control.
Computerized programs, adapted to meet
project requirements, are employed on larger projects.
Construction Consultation and
Inspection
ZEI serves the client during the
construction phase of a project in the following capacities:

coordinating contractor's work to assure compliance with drawings, specifications and
applicable codes and standards. |
